The breakfast was brilliant. We were able to order exactly what we wanted the night before and the cooked part of the breakfast was freshly cooked for us. Lovely quality of ingredients. We especially appreciated being welcomed with a cup of tea and the fresh coffee provided on the hospitality tray.

A very personal experience and fantastic hosts., with a welcome tea and cake also! The room was clean and as expected with great facilities. Secure and ample private parking with cover and private garden for use with all guests. Also, the breakfast is fantastic and great value for money, would highly recommend! We would definitely stay again as it suited our needs perfectly and more. Plenty of pubs around for food also.

The only fault we found in the property was there was no bathroom fan so the bathroom stayed quite steamy for a while after our showers.

Decoy Barn was very homely, bed very comfortable, the staff were super helpful with recommendations and the breakfasts were lovely. The selection of teas, coffees and biscuits in the room was good and we were given fresh milk each day in the fridge.

The setting and the room were exceptional .The hosts were more than helpful and the cup of tea on arrival was a welcome surprise ,Breakfast was excellent .There were many little things like a bottle of water in the room ,a little fridge with a jug of fresh milk ,gorgeous large towels and soap and shampoo in the shower . The beds were clean and very comfortable and the outside seating was an added bonus .

Just returned from a two night stay at Decoy Barns and would have no hesitation returning. The accommodation was perfect for our needs with a lovely comfortable bed and all the accessories one would require. On arrival the owner and host John and his wife Susannah welcomed us warmly and after showing us our room returned with a tea tray and cakes. A welcome treat after our journey. The spring sun enabled us to sit outside our room on our private table and chairs overlooking the perfectly kept lawn and gardens. The back ground sound of the rumble of passing traffic was soon replaced by the relaxing overtones of the water feature and bird song. The breakfast option and quality was excellent, all freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. Stuck with ideas where to dine in the evening - they have menus and suggestions aplenty and will happily make reservations for you. Where shall we go today? A vast selection of leaflets and booklets are available to offer ideas or the hosts are on hand to offer you personal suggestion or offer ideas of things to do that the leaflets might not mention. I could not recommend Decoy Barns highly enough for anybody looking to stay in this part of Norfolk.

the only thing i could come anywhere near faulting would be to get a little more pressure in the shower

Only downside was lots of mosquitos in the room, because we left the door open to air in the evening, it being in the September heat wave. But that is outside the control of the hosts, so no blame.

Very genial hosts, friendly without being intrusive. Lovely garden and plenty of outdoor seating to relax outside. Great breakfast, plenty of choice, and all ready at a time to suit you. Room very comfortable, perfect shower.
