Only a minor point, our room was at the front of the house so for privacy it might be nice to have some light blinds at the window as we had to draw the thick curtains to get changed etc. That said, it is a private drive and not busy.

Our room was comfortable and warm. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels. Tea and coffee was provided in the room. We had an early start on one of the days so we were provided with a continental-style breakfast to take with us. The following morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast and pot of coffee. The food was made fresh to order with a good choice. The property is in a lovely quiet location out of town so you would need a car to get around. Parking is available.

Beautiful home and comfortable facilities with free parking (a car is needed). Conveniently located to restaurants, supermarkets, and sites such as Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. The breakfast was superb and the hosts lovely. We will stay there again if we visit Inverness.

A stunning property with beautiful hosts Richard and Jenny. Fabulous accomodation with excellent facilities and rooms with very comfortable beds, quality linen and bath towels. Every detail of our stay was wonderful and our hosts made sure our every needs were accommodated from recommendations for dinner and tourist locations. Breakfast was superb with quality products , cooked and served fresh daily. Would definitely stay again and refer to our family and friends. Awesome quality stay at a very competitive price.

Jenny and Richard were excellent hosts. The breakfast was exceptional and the room was beautifully decorated. Beds were extremely comfortable and we had private en suite. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in your room. Our room was spotlessly clean and would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful accommodation. I wish we had been able to stay another night. Thank you Jenny and Richard for your warm hospitality.

Richard was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast served was delicious. Even the trip is one month ago, it still on of the best experience to stay with Richard.

By the Brae is beautifully appointed, with everything well thought out. Our room and ensuite were very comfortable and the daily servicing was more than we expected. Breakfast is made fresh to order in a lovely light-filled room with views of the pretty garden. Our hosts were lovely and friendly - we felt like old friends. We would highly recommend staying here when visiting Inverness. It's away from the traffic of the city and very close to the Culloden battlefield, which is a must-see.

As we were only there for 1 night it was all we needed and so had most things so there was nothing to not like

Comfy bed, breakfast and friendly hosts, everything was provided for that was needed and so quiet, it's a bit of a walk though if you didn't have a car.
