Was a problem with noise on first night from some water pipes, so staff arranged for me to move rooms the second night.

The water did not run cold, no matter how long it ran for, it came out warm. Regardless of turning the tap to the cold position (or even trying the hot in case it was fixed the wrong way around). That wasn't pleasant for teeth brushing. The WiFi in my room did not work, even though I checked it with hotel reception and tried connecting whilst on the phone to them. I gave up.. wasn't too big a deal. The TV didn't work properly either. Kept turning on, then a few mins later, switching itself off. I couldn't be bothered to call someone to try and sort it out as I was only staying for one night on business.

Good location. Hotel accommodation was fine. Little bit dated but it was clean and tidy and very spacious (at least the room that I had).

It was a basement room which wasn’t really a problem to us but at one point it rained heavily and there was a lot of noise from that.

A bit tired looking

Brilliant location for Covent garden theatre land and all of London .short walk to Holborn station and also loads of bus links or walking is easy. . Clean hotel but needs some TLC ! Shower is ancient but hot ,room had fridge and microwave,great staff .its also very quiet. breakfast is very expensive if not included with your booking £25 but make sure it is as the continental breakfast is good and you can then add fry up for £5 if you want.

The surroundings looked a bit dated and old but it served our purpose for a 2 night stay.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was adequate and the bed was comfortable.The continental breakfast was plentiful and adequate for our needs.

Cooked breakfast disappointing. We suspect that the bacon sausage and scrambled egg were all pre-cooked and kept warm. Sausage was unpleasant.

Location perfect. Staff were so friendly and helpful always smiling. Tea/coffee/biscuits replenished daily as were the toiletries . Good selection of items on the continental breakfast. Room spacious bed comfy.

We were able to leave our luggage until 2 pm but I kinda got the feeling that if we had stayed until the evening it might not have been possible and I think it´s a must to be able to leave your luggage at the hotel until your return flight.

The location was very good and the room was spacious - bigger than rooms normally in London. Loved having a bathtub and we also had a kitchenette in our room.

The sofa in the room was very old and not so comfortable. There is no dining room in the hotel but I understand there is in their sister hotels in the same street. This was ok but next visit we will stay in one of these. The staff and location certainly made up for any little things we didn’t like.

Very helpful staff. Moved me to another room with a shower and a bath as the bath was too high for me to step into. Large airy room and kept clean. Comfortable bed. Nice area to visit and also near bus stops.

Again the staff were professional, polite and helpful without any fuss. The room was again clean and comfortable, also attended daily by housekeeping. The location is perfect for museums, galleries and the west end. I shall stay here on my next London visit.

No air conditioning in the room, just a desk fan which didn’t really make any difference. The fridge in the room did not work. We had to go to the hotel next door to eat & then had to pay an additional £5 to have a full English breakfast.
