We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location of this property was just perfect for exploring The Cotswolds! It was equipped with everything you needed. Cosy, comfortable and very homely with a huge bed you didn’t want to get out of. We had lovely views of fields and especially watching the birds on the feeders. It was just so relaxing. The host made us feel very welcome upon arrival and the parking wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

United Kingdomthere is no oven, so had to eat out each night. found a slow cooker on the last night, there is no garden for the dog to go outside , just a little path from the front door to the gate. dog wasn’t allowed in the main garden as they had a cat. there is a charge for the use of the central heating which wasn’t highlighted on booking.com but had no access to turn it off as it was all day and we were out most of the day

United KingdomWe cannot fault the property, however the owner left us with a slight sour taste. On arrival she presumed we wouldn’t have known how to use the key safe (the standard key safe most rental/holiday properties have), that we wouldn’t use the maps she provided as ‘you lot just use your phones anyway’, she criticised the previous users on our arrival, that there was an extra charge ‘as per website’ for heating although there was no mention of this on booking.com, we were told that we didn’t say we were bringing the dog and continued to say this on our departure (although we have proof we did on the day of our booking and appreciate the extra charge) and that in the visitors book it was written by the owner ‘why do air bnb users never leave the place as they left it’. The above put a slight downer on what was a lovely new year stay.
Beautiful cottage, great location, well equipped, comfortable bed, parking on road close by to property, little box of cookies on arrival, subtle Christmas decoration, lovely pub 5 minute walk away, Cirencester less than 10 minute drive away plenty of shops, food outlets and dog friendly pubs.

United KingdomExtra cost for heating which isn’t mentioned anywhere on Booking.com and needs to be made in cash before departure. We didn’t come across any cash machines during our break which left us needing to make a journey especially to get cash out (something which we feel should be included anyway) heating could not be turned off and extra cost had to be paid, so why wasn’t this just included in the initial price? The host, whilst friendly, also ran through a lot of rules on arrival and mentioned previous guests which left us feeling like we would be scrutinised throughout our stay
