The room with balcony was fantastic, really nice typical parisian view! Very easy to move about via metro and 5 min from Les Halles station to catch ad direct train Disneyland! Bed was clean and comfy and room was tidy. The daytime receptionist was really good, very friendly and welcoming, spoke in English with us and helped keeping our luggages for a few hours on check out. Breakfast was good. Wifi on our room didn’t work but that’s okay, everything else was great.

I couldn’t find fault with anything and that’s the truth!

I didn’t know what to expect from a 2 star hotel ( which definitely should be 3 star!) but it exceeded all my expectations ! I will recommend it to anyone who want a clean, comfortable hotel in a good location. Bonus is the quirky artwork decorating the establishment!

Nothing could be better. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Hotel Roubaix was excellent. It is on the edge between the 2nd Arrondissement and Le Marais (3rd Arrond.). The location put us right in the middle of all we wanted to do. 20 min walk to the Louvre, 25 minute walk to the train station, 40 minute walk to Montmartre, 45 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. There are two excellent bakeries within a 4-minute walk. And the hotel itself is adorable. Very quirky decorations. Tiny European elevator that only fits two people. Fun and whimsical decor everywhere you look. Immaculately clean room, small but not cramped at all. Good A/C. And the friendliest staff you could ever meet, accompanied by two adorable and sleepy dogs who hang out under the stairs. I looked at places that were 3-4 times the price of this one, and I’m really glad I went with Hotel Roubaix. Excellent value.

Greeted by extremely friendly staff who offered to provide any information/assistance we required during our stay. Help with the lift for our luggage. Room was decorated really cool with a lovely balcony looking onto the church- better than expected! Beds were so comfortable, and the bathroom/shower was lovely and modern with hairdryer, little toiletries and plenty of towels provided. Beautiful stay- should be more than 2 stars for this little gem in Le Marais! Great value for an excellent central location too

Nothing to remark what I wouldn't like.

Hotel was very nice, not so big room but quite enough for my daily staying. Even I staied at 4th flor it was not any problem with hot water. It's placed in the area close to metro station, walking streets with lots of cafe/bars/restaurants and city sightseeing. As well to remark breakfast - was complete and with tea of good quality. As well in the room I had stable internet WIFI6. Hotel has also lovely separate place close to reception where you can stay with your friends and play games as chess, monopoly, Dixit and other at your disposal and room for conversation. So, I recomend this hotel for everyone.

The room was a little small, but given this is Paris and the age of the building this was completely expected. Our room was on the top floor(yes there’s a lift) and had a balcony overlooking the street, which made all the difference.

Very friendly staff, extremely welcoming, a unique hotel with art and quirkiness all around. The location is excellent, an easy walk to the Seine , Notre Dame and the Louvre. Many restaurants and shopping within easy walking. Breakfast is available and there’s plenty to choose from.

Great location very close to a metro that was well-connected to major stations and attractions. Some major attractions all within a not unreasonable walking distance (e.g., the Louvre and Sainte-Chapelle, Musée d’Orsay was maybe 40 minutes but easily doable on a pleasant day). The team were all very helpful and pleasant and the breakfast is lovely and a good way to start the day. The breakfast room is a little quirky but there’s part of the charm.

For this price and in this location, the hotel is perfect.

How to start a review, it is a hotel as a hotel in Paris should be, cozy, comfortable, a bit quirky but rich in atmosphere with all the expected comforts. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Paris. The room was exemplary clean and comfortable, but expectedly petite (which, same as the very tiny tables at the restaurants, should be part of the Paris experience). The view from our room was on the "roofs of Paris", very characteristic and charming. The personnel was very polite and professional, no one ever skipped hailing us when we passed, from the proprietor to room cleaning personnel. A special mention goes to the minute elevator, which really made us smile every time we entered it. It was clearly designed to promote close contact. But again, clean, comfortable, ideally located, well connected with the metro, very good breakfast, friendly personnel, 24 hour reception, free WiFi. It might have 2 stars, but the quality of the stay was impeccable. All in all, I can only recommend this hotel to everyone, it will make your stay in Paris that much more enjoyable and genuinely "Parisienne".

Nothing, it was perfect for our stay.

Great location, near Train, Tube and great Restaurants, plenty to do and see.. Decoration fabulous, very quant, eclectic but everything works very well together. Should be more than two stars, given the very friendly welcome from the owner and all the staff, the facilities and cleanliness. We would return in a heart beat, we had a fabulous time.

This is my second stay at the Hôtel de Roubaix, and they confirmed my excellent impression from the first stay: recently renovated, nice decoration, friendly staff, great location. Special mention to the staff who was very helpful this time around to help us go through some problems (unrelated to the hotel itself). As a semi-regular traveler to Paris, this is likely to become my default choice if they keep this up.

It was perfect for us. The room and location was ideal. We walked in the morning and took a taxi back at night. There was plenty near by for your needs- a markets, restaurants, and shops. A perfect spot.
