We were disappointed with all the construction. The balconies' flower boxes were empty (or, near us, they were still full of dead Christmas greens). Our view was of some of the construction across the way at the hotel's other building. And there was lots of construction noise early in the day.

We loved the check-in staff-- and our little water bottles. What a fun welcome! Our room was lovely and perfect for traveling with my husband and our adult son. We had plenty of room and appreciated the tiny balcony for our morning coffee. Great location-- easy to walk to Chamonix center.

No Refrigerator in the room and No coffee maker. This was my fault for not noticing when I booked. We had to keep getting ice from the bar to keep my wife's medicine cool and it was inconvenient to say the least. Also, we wanted to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony with the great view, but we had no outside chairs on the balcony, No wine glasses or any convenient way to enjoy wine in our room. I am sure the staff would have given us ice and glasses if we had ask, But it's still not the same as having these amenities in the room. PS: Notice that during the day they have construction on-going and if you are needing to rest rather than being out you can forget it. ( My wife was sick so we had to stay in the room). The management made a slight gesture (10% off 1 day) for our inconvenience which we did appreciate.

I loved the location and the friendliness of the front desk staff. The hotel had a bar and restaurant for breakfast although we didn't have a chance to take advantage of either, it was nice to have the option. We would have loved to use the spa but time didn't allow us to. Again the location was perfect. The welcome gift was very appreciated. The view from our room was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. We loved almost everything.

The bathroom ( not shower ) did not have a lock and I can see that as a problem if having someone with you in the same room. Now, talking to a friend who was staying in the same hotel, he mentioned that in his room the bathroom had a lock.

Location is very good as it is close to the town center where restaurants, bars and stores are located. Breakfast was excellent with many options to choose from. Room was of a good size and had an excellent shower.

We stayed in the newly renovated rooms and they were beautiful, shame about the construction right outside as some of the new parts of the hotel were not finished. It didn't affect our stay too much though, we still had a great time

My room request for twin beds was not registered. Wound up in a room with a pull out sofa bed. Though the manager did offer to change room if one became available. At that point it was too much of a hassle.
