Can't really say there was anything wrong with this place.

The location is stunning. You just walk onto the beach an absolute dream of snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddling. The staff, mostly locals that are genuinely warm and want to make your stay awesome. The facilities are really nice. They'll just ask you stuff like "does your partner want to see baby sharks?" And off you go to the beach for them to show you a spot. Like, they genuinely want to show you something cool. Just like that. The weather.... Just wow. The water and the marine wildlife. Probably one of the best laid back spot on the coral coast. Just drop your bags and settle into the Fiji time.

It’s Fiji so definitely not expecting the pools to be heated, but the pool was too cold to swim in most days we were there. We also found the shower pressure was very light, especially if you wanted warm/hot water.

We loved everything about our stay at Maui palms - the service, the food, the snorkeling off the beach. It’s definitely a place for couples rather than families!

location of the property, boutique type of property, staff were fantastic and couldn’t have been better. The Maui Palms was the best place that we stayed at whilst in Fiji and we would definitely stay there again when we come back.

Water Pressure in bathroom. There was an amazing bath in our Villa, but as it filled up so slowly the water was tepid before any volume was achieved...gave up. Also as the bath was man made - the plug didn't seal properly.

The staff were fantastic. They made us feel like part of their extended family. They all learnt both of our names and happily used them in their day to day interactions. Special mention to Andi, Liti, Tiger and Felix who were amazing.

You do need to be prepared to only eat at the resort as there isn’t much around but with kitchen facilities we would’ve cooked breakfast had we been more prepared.

This place was beautiful. The view from our room of the beach and pool was lovely. Everyone was so friendly. We loved how you could have food anywhere, in the restaurant, in your room or by the pool. Snorkelling was awesome - definitely a must do. We loved the small place vibe with the staff remembering your room so was easy getting food sorted

It was our choice to be at a quiet villa so not really a dislike...but.nadi and suva were quite a distance ..we didn't mind but some guests wished they had hired a car.

Small and friendly. Good food selection each meal time.nothing too much trouble. When you ordered food you could eat in restaurant, have by the pool/beach or at your villa. Great little supermarket /Italian restaurant and diner a short walk from hotel if you fancied something different.. kayaking and snorkelling just outside your villa.

Not much we didn't like however the definition of garden may need a review- we had a great view of the roof across the driveway and the restaurant below when sitting on the balcony

It would have been nice if our door had a room number on it, but no biggie.

The staff were absolutely amazing, knew our names and were great to chat to. Our room (we stayed at the new extension) was very comfortable, classy and the infinity pool was stunning. We loved snorkelling just a few metres away from the hotel. Spectacular surrounding area - we visited Kula Adventure Park and Biausevu Waterfall. The food and drinks were delicious. There were only adults staying at Maui Palms while we were there

We enjoyed everything that was provided and available at Maui Palms. This is hands-down the best holiday desitiantion we've stayed at. From the food, the location to the absolutely wonderful staff. Thank you so much to everyone there, you were so welcoming and helpful and lovely. We were actually very sad to have to leave and end our holiday. THANK YOU Maui Palms team. We will see you again.

Communication with property before we arrived was impossible by email, no one would respond. Calling or DM through Instagram was the only was to communicate with someone and that was also challenging. This should be improved. The villa we stayed in was really showing its age and is in need of updating.

The energy of this place is absolutely fabulous. The friendly inviting staff make sure that you are well taken care of.

Everything was incredible! the bungalow accomodation is perfect, looking out onto the pool & ocean. The staff (particularly Felix, Andi and Rocky) were incredible. they always went above and beyond for their guests. I loved our daily fresh coconuts from Felix; Andi was like our thoughtful mum who checked in on us regularly and Rocky helped us with all our water activities including snorkelling and kayaking. the food in the restaurant is delicious. would recommend for anyone looking to get away and disconnect from a busy life. We look forward to returning :)

The only slight negative would be the food. We felt it was overpriced for what it was. One morning I had 2 slices of toast with a small dish of baked beans and was charged $18 for this

We booked the penthouse apartment and it was exactly as described on booking.com. It was a stunning space and we made good use of the ping pong table upstairs. Loved the infinity pool, such a brilliant design and you can snorkel from the beach at high tide which is a definite bonus. The staff were all fantastic

I've been to Fiji many, many times and hands down this was the best hotel and location I've stayed at! The staff were super friendly, and "everybody knew your name". I don't even know what room number we stayed in because I never had to use it to put anything on our tab. The pool was clean, comfortable loungers. Our room was very comfortable with a view of the ocean.

The staff made it all so pleasant. The location is your veritable tropical paradise! Andi, Neil, Tiger, Felix, Leti and Susannah were always friendly and smiling and personable. The facilities are top notch and the service delightful. It's just a great place to relax. The food was excellent, our compliments to chef Ben! Service was available anywhere, the pools, the beach, the restaurant or your room.
