The place is very old and desperately needs updating. My sheets were very stained, my pillow cases were mouldy and had hair all over them. I asked them to change them, they did, however the same situation so I slept in my own travel sheet. (the shared bathroom floor was always wet with huge puddles of water throughout, I almost slipped several times. The shower floors were also not cleaned well and very slippery. When departing I asked the reception to order me a taxi for the next morning, it was the hotel taxi. It never came, I almost missed my flight while I waited on the road in torrential rain to try and hail a taxi. The reception was supposed to be open at this time and it wasn’t. this place has potential, however they need to invest some money into it; update, clean and invest in new bedding. The only reason I returned a second time was because it was non-refundable, I wouldn’t visit again unless there were changes made.

The location is lovely for exploring the rainforest and it keeps it cool at night. The staff were lovely as well and tried to help.

It is a bit isolated so, you might need a taxi to come here.

It was perfect for a retreat. The view on the lake and the pond was excellent. Had a wonderful quiet time there, the colo-i-suva park is at walking distance. The bedroom was really rustic but at this price, it was expected and better than I thought anyway. Internet was fine.

The bure/room was very close to both main road and broken sewer line resulting in noise and bad smell. Bright lights at night directed directly into sleeping room better the second night with bath towel hung over the most direct floodlight.

Terrible coffee. Terrible customer service. We asked for the remote to the AC and were told on two occasions that a staff would come by our room with a remote - they never did. The room was hot and the ceiling fan blades were dusty.

That the restroom and bathroom was separate from the room, old curtains not covering the whole room, so at night, when drawing the curtains, it wouldn’t cover the glass doors fully so if the person next door walks in front of my room, he/she can see through my room.

The only thing I like about the property was the surrounding rainforest, that gave beautiful scenery and different kinds of bird calls.

it was in the forest so everything got damp and clammy there was a function on that made it that we couldn’t enjoy the facility properly the food prices were a bit too high and there were a few dogs running around outside your door we enjoyed the stay but it was not our style but good luck to the owners

Apart from the Colo-i Suva reserve and waterfall there is not much to see nearby but Suva is not far away so that’s alright.

Beautiful location in the rainforest. The bed was luxuriously comfy, it was the perfect temperature in the room with the fan on. Very clean and good facilities. The restaurant is quite nice also. Peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle but not too far. Staff were helpful.

this place was extremely dirty and smelt musty and the bathroom like urine there was no pillow cover on a pillow and 2 towels for 4 guests went to checkout and the receptionist was asleep on her keyboard and there are stray dogs everywhere they were harmless but the smell of wet dog and them hanging around is no ideal
