Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandUnfortunately the room had not been fully cleaned when we arrived - the towels hadn't been replaced, there was no bath mat, shampoo, conditioner etc not replenished, the table in the room was still dirty, but the lovely staff member we asked to clean it fully the next day did a brilliant job. Club Fiji could really make the most of offering bikes for hire, I'm sure that would be a winner. The closest ones are down the beach at the Wailoaloa resorts but no mention is made of that. International guests would also expect to have an information folder in the room - it's standard practice around the world and would help guests know what was available locally.
Staff were very friendly, the room was sufficient and the location very good.

AustraliaThe Bure… was comfortable, but with a little effort could be lovely. The room is spacious, for a couple. Our bathroom was in need of a makeover. It was usable, but would be much more comfortable if the bath - shower did not have a shower curtain. A glass door, or screen, would be much cleaner & look much nicer.
The staff were mostly helpful. The grounds are well kept.

IrelandThe dorms were the best I have stayed in - all broken into pods of 2 bunk beds with a living area in between which offered lots of privacy. Staff were very accommodating with dietary restrictions and organising transport for us, as well as organising a special Kava tasting for us

AustraliaThe room had a rather nasty odour. And due to the room having shutters instead of windows the lights and noise came straight inside the room... but drink enough and it doesn't bother you too much.
The facilities and the vibe at this place were awesome. Stunning beach views and immaculate grounds. Great entertainment and different themed activities each evening. Fun host and well stocked bar. They really treated you like family and even though they are strict on the 10am check out that doesn't mean you cannot stay and use all of their facilities (pools, restaurant, bar) and then they have a shower room to prepare for going to the airport. Very thoughtful. Nice toiletries in the room.

United States of AmericaThe location meant you had to get a taxi to do or go anywhere. The bar played music until 12 pm, The staff didn't clean our room one of the days we were there, the safe was broken and they couldn't fix it, but the kicker was we needed to be picked up on time for a half day cruise and snorkeling trip. The front desk referred us to the travel desk, and that woman told us we would be picked up at the resort at 3pm. So we waited , and at 3:30 pm no bus! So a different woman called the tour company and they never pick up there! So we had to share the next taxi in order to get to a different pick up spot by 4pm!! We only made it because a nice couple let us share their taxi so we didn't have to wait 10 minutes for one to be called. The next morning a man needed to be at the airport by 6 am. He ordered his taxi the night before and even paid for it. But the taxi was never ordered. So our taxi arrived at 6 am and we shared our taxi with him so he wouldn't miss his flight.
Having a bungalow was quaint but a little on the outdated side. The first night they had an outdoor dance show that was pretty good, not great but ok.

New ZealandThe steps were uneven, it made it difficult to climb them. The room towels and pool towels need upgrading. The breakfast buffet needs to be monitored by the staff to refill the hot food faster, the guests had to wait awhile for the kitchen. Often run out of glasses and cups at breakfast time. The BBQ meat needed to be marinated to make it more tasty.
The resort is Island style beautiful and rooms were clean, nice bed linens, comfortable bed and nice views. I recommend bring your own towels and beach towels because their towels need upgrading (ifyou'relikemefussyforanicequalityfluffytowel). The accommodation included hot breakfast with fruit, it was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sun rises and sun sets at the resort beach were amazing, great background for photos. The resort has everything you need for chillaxin - 2 pools, yoga, pool table, bar, live music, entertainment and Kava sessions. It is not over crowded and plenty of space to find a spot to have cocktails - resort bar, pool and beach front. I will come to this resort again but this time I will book a Bure with the beach front view and no steps haha. I had an ocean view room but I had to climb the steps to the 3rd floor, unfortunately no lifts. But it was good exercise though and you get use to the all steps. The experience at Club Fiji Resort was great, value for money and affordable.

AustraliaThe breakfast was not great value ,very limited selection and hot food not available for almost an hour after opening. Very limited dining options with a pizza place and whatever the themed dinner was . All day Snack menu would have been good Bathrooms were very dated but clean General maintenance seemed to be lacking - eg pool tiles missing, sloppy paint job in room, bathroom vanity coming away from the wall.
The ambience is lovely, very village like and simple. Sat night entertainment was really good . Beachfront is beautiful. Pools were very clean although missing tiles. Staff were lovely and eager to please

CanadaI would advise a little bit improve guests service in the restaurant. During my stay I had to make self-service by ordering food near the bar for a few times, although the restaurant was not busy and the waitresses were just chatting. As the sea is extremely affected by tides, I would still recommend for the hotel managers to think how to engage guests with the sea and sea activities. People travel thousands of miles to enjoy Fijian sun and sea but not stay near the swimming pools, unfortunately. Furthermore, the shore could be cleaned of trash after tides.
I stayed for a couple of days in a bungalow surrounded by plants and flowers, very beautiful! The room and shower room were very clean, well ventilated. Every night there was a performance/show for the guests to get to know more about Polynesian culture, brilliant idea! Local fish and other meals from fish in the restaurant were fantastic! Very fresh and tasty. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay before going to/arriving from the airport.

United States of AmericaThe dirt road access with no street lighting especially with our night arrival. The breakfast food was lacking in taste. It was too isolated from other amenities. Perhaps a trip bus to the nearby town for tourist shopping or alternate restaurants could be provided. The physical condition of the building could use some work. Some of the shutters did not operate or close completely. Also, the cold water faucet in the sink did not shut off completely. The shower curtain was ripped at the top and it was too long for the shower.
The natural beauty of the sea and trees. Did not seem "crowded" even though they said they were fully booked. The "after check out" facilities of a shower room and lockers were used by us. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

AustraliaBeach was next to a public beach so lots of broken bottles and glass, so couldn't swim or even wade through the Ocean. Our Room was burgled and we had an encounter with the Burglars, who were chased but who managed to run away... It was a Harrowing experience and we did not feel safe after that as the Burglars had the key to our room & had opened a Locked door. we were told that there was no security from 7:00am till 9:30am everyday and the Burglars had used that as an opportunity to rob us. The Breakfast was okay and the lunch and dinners were average and very expensive.
Beautiful Location, and the Staff were really nice.
