Pool area is a bit of a let down as fake grass is tacky and cheap and the loungers not so comfortable. The rest of the hotel is amazing but the pool area doesn’t fit the rest of the feel (the pool itself is fine size for a city break just not the rest of the area).

Room, bed, staff, surroundings, food all amazing. Will definitely be back.

Guests hogging sunbeds by leaving their towels on them and disappearing. It left very few free sunbeds in an already small space. No signs to discourage this. A shuttle bus into Malaga town from the hotel would have been welcome.

Beautiful building and pretty gardens with lovely views of sea. We had breakfast and dinner in the garden every day. High quality of food although menu including specials menu didn't change for the 3 nights we were there. Breakfast was amazing. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Room very stylish and comfortable, very spacious well-equipped bathroom.

To say this hotel is beautiful is an understatement. From the entryway with its lovely couches, to the outdoor dining area with its tremendous views and castle walls, to the tiles adorning the indoor steps... each visual aspect of this hotel is exquisite. Add on to that the kind, attentive staff and you have a great formula for a fantastic visit. It's far enough away from Malaga to ensure tremendous views of the city and sea while still close enough to ensure a quick drive to great restaurants and touristy experiences. It strikes a perfect balance. The room was also tremendously comfortable - the best was large and cozy and the room, while modern, still had character.

Could not get in the room until quite late and had worst room in the hotel. Noisy hallway to a public bathroom. Very noisy.

Exquisite architecture, history and stunning restoration. An oasis in crowded Malaga.

Everything 🤩 the whole stay was wonderful, the staff couldn’t have been better and so helpful and with some added little surprises as in bringing us some nibbles foc . The location on top off the hill is superb. The room itself was divine with a huge bathroom and the beds were so so comfortable. We can’t recommend enough and it will be on our list to return

If it’s raining you cannot sit outside in the courtyard and the hotel could do with a nice lounge. But this would not put us off staying again.

Whilst our room was lovely, the window was up high and you couldn’t see outside.

The peace and tranquility was exceptional. It’s a really calm and peaceful environment and the views are breathtaking. The focus is very much on providing excellence. Breakfast was superb and it was served from 7-12 which was so flexible. The decor of the hotel is wonderful and really tasteful.

Only one minor complaint, the room 104 smelt like sewage. We reported it to reception twice but it wasn’t completely resolved. Possibly the A/C but it needs to be fixed.

The windows were a bit tricky to open and one has a gap underneath. A second chair in the bedroom would be good, though it wasn't too hard to transfer one from the bathroom area. The bedside table holding the phone is short on space.

Spacious room with comfortable bed, good facilities and fine views. Lovely outdoor areas, nice food and helpful staff.

Nothing - all was lovely! -For those concerned about location: hotel is in the hills just east of 'downtown' Malaga. Nearest local restaurant, convenience store or bus stop, is a 10-15m walk down the hill towards the sea. Everything around centro historico/Malaga is just a quick taxi ride away though (10-15m ride to downtown) - but it means you will be taking taxis often. Hotel has large parking area for guests, but elsewhere around town, vehicle parking is not so simple.

Small, elegant boutique hotel in an historic castle in the hills of Malaga overlooking the sea, quiet, charming residential area, beautiful views, excellent service, smiling, personable staff, great attention to detail. Breakfast till noon, afternoon coffee, and beautiful dinner (if you so chose) served outside on the open air courtyard. Average sized room, but perfect for us, with high ceilings, comfortable beds, fine linens, luxury bath and shower products, fluffy robes, welcome tidbits of chocolate and fruit, as well as a welcome beverage in the lounge or courtyard on checkin.

We felt that the food was a little overpriced and a little underwhelming, good, but not excellent. Obviously, when staying somewhere like this, you expect to pay a premium, but €25 for a small plate of vegetables does seem a little excessive.

Absolutely stunning location. Wonderful room with a very comfortable bed. Staff were fantastic. A really excellent hotel.
