How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Itt has that usual doorless shower where water keeps splashing onto the floor outside the shower. I don't get this design but it's very common. The safe needed a key - I wish they had the PIN-based one. No nearby parking so if you're renting, prepare for a bit of struggle with parking. Reception was helpful with pointing out options though. While there is a lift, there's 3 steps to walk up before getting to the lift so consider this if you have a stroller for your baby. Also the lift is quite small - 4 people is quite tight so factor this in for stroller size.
For the price, very spacious, very central, and feels new (at least at that point, the AC vents were dustless!). Nice balcony although we didn't book one with seaview so we just see other balconies. Lots of space in the living room even with the massive sofa-bed. Very bright because of large windows but the blackout curtains work really well to keep rooms super dark for baby to sleep well. We did not expect a baby chair because we only requested for a cot but it was a very nice comfy baby chair that our infant did not complain much being on it. Awesome that they provide foam and detergent for washing dishes, no need to buy a wasteful pack. Very nice bathroom, everything seems new. Gorgeous bed headboard and lighting. Every room has its own wifi that a gadget we had that usually disconnects worked 100% well.

Feels a little dated and could use a light refurbishment.
Ideally located in the town centre with plenty of parking options in the surrounding areas. Apartment is spacious and very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Super clean, we got cleaning every 2 days for a 7 nights stay which was great. Close to a lot of restaurants and everything you need is in the area, even mercadona nearby. Looks like in the pictures, equipped kitchen which anything you might need. I totally recommend it.

A bit noisy. But it is in the centre of town so to be expected. Bin lorry comes about 4 in the morning.

The apartments are ideally located close to everywhere you need to go - in particular Judy a short walk to the beach and the marina. Katie the receptionist is very helpful and we enjoyed eating in a few places she suggested. Excellent value for money.

It’s a lively area until quite late, so double glazing or sound/reducing curtain lining would be nice. If you’re from a city or a busy place, you won’t notice it. If you’re used to very quiet locations you might notice it more.
Handy location, plenty of space and clean facilities. Easy to check in.

I'm being picky now, but the rooms are slightly dated, but not enough to put me off coming again!
We were due to arrive late night to the apartment, but Katy advised us in advance what to do on arrival at the apartment to get our keys, which was great. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and tidy. The location is very close to the sea front, plenty of restaurants, easy access to various shops and taxis closely available if required.

A/c wasn’t powerful enough at first but we left it on so it would cool the apartment. To be fair it was 100 degrees while we were there !!

Little bit noisy from the street (late at nigh or early in the morning), but thats a trade off to live in the centre, so just take you ear plugs with you!
Great location - everything you need is near by: beach, ferry, bus, shops, cafe, restaurants; very clean, comfy bed, great balcony, very friendly, fast and helpful reception. Also easy to travel to the airport and other towns and beaches in the area. Everything was perfect for my stay and great value for money!
