The only downside was the check in time at 4pm when we were arriving at 10am other than that I would 100% recommend.

The location of the property was perfect. It was clean and the views were to die for. I would 100% recommend this apartment and I am already looking at returning. First time visiting Malaga and it certainly did not disappoint.

Regarding the accommodations, I must say I was very pleased. I would like to suggest that the furniture was a bit tired and the apartment could use a bit of tender care, new paint etc. I did miss my softer mattress lol But admittedly it was exceptional value for the expense. Jose and the crew at the Malaga Property Rental were attentive to my every request and swift to fix some things that needed attention. Thanks!!!

The location is outstanding being close to the harbour, promenade and downtown. There are so many exceptional places to eat with easy access. If you like to walk or run, the walkways along the sea are outstanding, challenge yourself to enjoy a sunrise along Malagueta Beach, simply amazing. The weather is temperate, cool in the shade and of course warm in the sun during Jan/Feb/Mar. People were friendly and I don't speak Spanish, but didn't take away from the experience. The Spanish were quite accommodating. Numerous museums and shopping for the enthusiasts. Taking a tour to Ronda and Setenil is a must see. Great walking the streets in Torremolinos, Puerto Banus and Marbella too.

It would be a good idea to mark on the cutlery drawer where it is as couldn't find it. It's a hidden drawer also the WiFi password couod be made clearer as didn't use until the last day other than that a really pleasant stay.

The apartment needs some maintenance, especially the bathroom. The place is small I would recommend to provide two towels per person, and would be nice to find some water in the apartment.

The door to the unit was a little tricky. Sometimes the code didn't work and the door wouldn't open. We had to try it a few times before it would open. Also, the woman working in the reception/lobby was perhaps the most unfriendly person we ever encountered. We said 'hola' to her and she just stared right through us and said nothing. Lastly, the air conditioning in the living room wasn't working, however there was a fan that kept it reasonably comfortable.

The location was perfect and the view was amazing. There wasn't any excessive noise or any problems with neighbours. Just a short walk to the beach, harbour and not far from the city centre. We would stay there again.

During our three night stay we had problems with plumbing (sink, shower and kitchen sink not draining) and we feared using the washing machine for this reason. They came next day to fix it but when we were asleep in the morning (we would have appreciated some notice of approx ETA)

We stayed for a month between January and February. The weather was cold at times and the wall heaters did not work. We had them on at the max but it didn’t produce any heat. There was a constant sewer smell in the entire apartment, this was probably something that could not be remedied during our stay so I didn’t mention it to the booking. com representative.

IMPORTANT: Click on the apartment name (left-hand box in the ‘prices’ section) to see pictures of the actual apartment. Gallery at the top includes pictures of several different apartments and this seems to catch out a lot of people. Personally, I think Booking.com should have an explanation prominently displayed across the ‘Gallery’ in these multiple-let adverts. So, it seems the management have sorted issues raised in older reviews, but here’s the big new problem – BUILDING WORK: Immediately outside (if your rental faces the marina) a new apartment block is being built. Building noise all day Monday to Friday. There is also work going on in the Marina and this included power drills on Saturday morning. Did not complain as we were given a very early check-in F.O.C. and thought this compensated us somewhat, but I wouldn’t have booked had I known about the building work. They seem to have reduced the prices now, maybe this is why.

Issues in older reviews: 'Poorly equipped' – kitchen now has a good range of equipment except: could use a veg peeler, kettle is too small (1 cup at a time) and no cups supplied (if it has a cup when you visit, that’s the one I bought at the market on the beach - 2 euros). But no oven and only a two ring hob. Enough toilet roll for the first day or so supplied and enough shower products for one or two showers. No herbs, spices, salt, etc., (I think this is due to Covid precautions), but airport security was extremely laid back about the little packages I took to avoid a major shopping expedition. The 'drains' smell: Cover pipe at the back of the sink cupboard (plastic bag and elastic band), cover shower drain / bathroom basin overflow & put plug in and smells go away. I take no responsibility if you forget to uncover the overflow and leave the taps running! 'Air con is very noisy': did not find this an issue. Ran it all night without disturbing sleep. Online check-in is a slightly unnerving process which involves them taking a picture of you with your computer’s camera, but it made for a quick and efficient service on arrival. Excellent communication from the rental agents who you call when you land and they send codes for building and apartment doors to your phone.
