The jacuzzi jets didn't always work, but I think they were getting this fixed. There was very little birdlife around these parts, but I think that is true for much of the Canary Islands, so I was delighted to spot a scream of swifts wheeling about for a short time just before sunset. Without a car you do have to make an effort to get to the sea or anywhere else, but the local bus service (timetables online or use Google Maps) was cheap and available, and just a short walk down from the hotel.

Very friendly family run hotel, perfect for relaxing, with genuinely helpful and happy staff, and run to a good standard. It is on the outskirts of a small quiet working town from where you can hear the clock strike from the church of San Nicolas, and the view of mountains from the roof garden is lovely, alongside which you can see the solar panels which power the place. The breakfast was exceptional with a huge tasty buffet including fresh juices, fruit salad, omelettes, home made bread, cheeses, salad and patisseries, also with my preference of oat milk. The swimming pool, although cold, was a refreshing good tonic after soaking up the heat on the sun beds. I didn't have a car but was able to catch a bus to the local beach, and take a few trips up the coast to, or towards, the town Agaete famous for its sea pools, and I even got back to the airport with just two buses. Overall I felt comfortable, safe and happy for rest and recuperation, soaking up the rays and swimming, after breaking my wrist.

Room was very spacious, clean with a balcony offering the view overlooking the pool. Staff were very friendly and warm. Hotel is offering great breakfast, in my case was included in the overnight price. They have a garage and also outside parking which is essential if renting a car. Hotel is situated in a quiet town and quiet street. Entirely up my alley.

The coffee at the breakfast was brewed coffee. Apart from the coffee, the breakfast was great.

The drive to the hotel from the airport , , not for the nervous driver , but spectacular , truly spectacular

It was excellent , great breakfast , Prosecco and a lovely buffet , the jacuzzi , the pool , the staff., our terrace room The fish restaurants at the sea, which is a drive away.

Its about as far from the airport as you can possibly get. Although that gave us the chance to see more of the island

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet choices were excellent. The hotel is set in a small town with some very dramatic scenery

There isn't anything I didn't like. I had an excellent stay

I loved the breakfast so much. So much to choose from, delicious coffee and I even found champagne for those who like to have a glass in the morning. What a lovely place in a lovely city. I also slept very well, though was exhausted from my long flight. But all in all it was a lovely room even with a living room and perfect shower room.

It's a very silly thing, but the shower handles are too smooth and without anything to grip, so they're quite hard to use once you're soapy and slippery.

The breakfast is amazing, you're truly spoilt for choice and everything is tasty. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, and the pool area is also nice.

5th visit. Always stay a couple of days when on the Island Very nice breakfast buffet. Lovely quiet pool area to sit - plus Hot Tub!
