Hotel Juleca is very convenient for the motorway (near Bailen / Jaen) but doesn't suffer from noise. Very comfy rooms and a good restaurant on site.

We stayed in early October. Website showed a pool, the pool was the reason why we booked our stay. Turns out the pool was closed due to drought since August. Understandable, but some advanced notice would have been appreciated.

Clean rooms. Beautiful bathroom. Pepe did a wonderful job making us feel welcome and at home in the restaurant.

Arrived late and left early as stopover during work travel. Food and drink facilities not used, Mini fridge in room if needed, lots of parking, did not explore the local area, sorry.

It was quite a distance from the motorway. Lots of meat and fish dishes no vegetarian options. Had to ask for pasta for my son. I had a cod dish, looked amazing but cod slightly undercooked.

There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Very large carpark. Very peaceful. Staff very friendly.

Our room was right next to the reception area so we could hear everything through the door while it was busy in the afternoon. It does get quiet in the evening though, so no issue with sleeping.

It's a great roadside hotel for an overnight stopover when travelling north/south. Rooms are spacious with a comfy bed and a nice shower. Check out the affiliated restaurant next door for dinner - highly recommend!

Fairly small room! Disappointed that only one spare pillow provided and needed to go to reception for additional pillow.

Signposting from the main road was inadequate.

Barman brought dinner on a tray to our room as my wife has walking difficulties. Receptionist was very helpful. Helpful response by e-mail to enquiry about directions to the hotel.

I found little wrong but light sleepers should be aware that there is a railway line close to the property while only having 2 trains per hour it may disturb some.

on a road now bypassed by the A45 motorway this roadhouse hotel offers superb value half way between Madrid and Malaga. The rooms are better than many UK value chains and the local friendly restaurant and bar is superb value. staff very friendly and helpful but please remember it is central Spain do everything in Spanish. use your translation app on the menu but food is good and local.

Could have done with more power points in room. Not many places to charge things. Outside area was quite noisy until quite late as hotel shares the lot with a restaurant / club and patrons were talking and shouting quite loudly until quite late. Didn't really bother me, (heavy sleeper), but might disturb some.

Comfortable, modern hotel just off the highway. Lady on reception was very friendly and helpful upon check-in. Good bathroom and parking directly outside hotel entrance.

The breakfast was very poor and was only a tea or coffee with a toasted roll nothing else. Served in a noisy bar. The bathroom heater doesn't work so it was very cold.

The hotel was adequate but was more of a 2 star than 3 star.

That we don't visit more often

We've been coming here for many years having first come across it by spotting their green hotel sign from the motorway. We are very glad indeed that we did and now are visiting twice a year on our way to and from the Costa del Sol.
