Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThere is just one tiny thing: the hotel was quite overheated. I undertsand that for winter time, the hotel should be warm, but it felt way too hot in the lobby and cafe. The rooms were ok, temperature wise.
The location right at the slope is amazing, you can go rent skis in your pijama ;) The director was also super nice and even came to pick my up at the train station when the renfe bus stopped operating! Complimentary water in the mini bar saved my evening ;)

Belgiumeverything was good really. the last night there was a very big storm and there was a bit of water coming in from the terrace door but nothing much although I hope they will address the issue.
Last time I was here I wrote a rather negative review, but this time will not be the case. We were very happy wit the staff. We were arriving with a little kid that was not feeling very well and were allowed to check in a bit earlier. Wifi and breakfast were very good and the staff at the bar and play club were very kind

IsraelReception Staff wasn't perfect to say the least... Our check in felt a little like the receptionist did us a favour by letting us stay there (very distrustful and cold), Another receptionist didn't speak a single lick of English...
Nice hotel, saved us from a blizzard in an unheated apartment. Breakfast is nice, I caught a cold so I was sick and weak - the waiting staff gave me a tray to take food up to my room.

The staff were amazing. It is a shame the staff in the bar and restaurant did not speak great english and there is no english menu but we could also consider trying to speak spanish. Despite this we did not go without a thing. We willl go back fo sure!

IrelandNo radiators in the room to dry skiing clothes after a day on the slopes and the laundry service available is expensive. TV in room did not have any English speaking channels.
Great location right opposite the La Molina slopes. Good amenities around the hotel grounds to rent your ski equipment and also a small shop to pick up some essentials. Very friendly and welcoming staff in the hotel, Double Room was very clean and comfortable Breakfast options available were good. Restaurant decent price for a set menu. The evening bar was great value and nice to have a relaxing drink in front of the fire. Hotel is very warm no fear of being cold within the hotel.

United Arab EmiratesThe Kettle in the room would be a good add-on. The spa facility needs some serious maintenance. The sauna was not operating. It took us 40 minutes to wait until the steam starts working well.
The room was good. Very spacious and light. There was a great, tasty breakfast served every morning. Very important point before you go skiing.

United Arab Emiratesit felt like as it was Low season they didn’t need to bother. The air con was broken so sleeping was not good, small things like all the cues for the pool table were broken and the bar was never really open despite advertising hours that it was. It just felt like it needed some upkeep. The breakfast was nice but the set dinner was not good at all given it was the only option to eat at night in the area. it was the set menu or nothing, the food was overly heavy and no options for vegetarians or anything simple / healthy at all. We managed to order a hamburger off menu for our child and it was so burnt it was inedible. We tried to explain with our limited Spanish that it was not safe to eat and the waitress rolled her eyes at us and removed it and brought back the exact same plate of burnt food 5 minutes later. When we expressed that it was burnt (using google translate) she threw her arms in the air. all that being said we had a wonderful stay in La Molina and some of the cafes in the village serve wonderful food but they are only open on set days during lunch. Some of the staff were wonderful and the massage was lovely.
hard one to review - some of the staff were wonderful but others not. location was great and the area was beautiful and perfect base to explore from.
