This is an older stone house in Lires, very unique, perfectly restored over the years by two generations. The generation running it is absolutely adorable.

I had such a wonderful stay at Casa Raul. Extremely kind family. I really enjoyed talking with Raul and Rosalía. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with a lot of history and character. Breakfast was outstanding. Would love to return for a longer stay.

That we just stayed one night!

We stopped in Casa Raúl while walking the Camino to Muxía. Our room was really beautiful, perfectly equipped and so nicely decorated. We even had a small balcony with lounge chairs! Rosalía was a perfect host, really nice and friendly: she explained us where we could have lunch and dinner, where to walk on the nearby beach and after breakfast she even gave us a small bag with apples and cakes for our walk. And Lires is beautiful...

Nothing, it was ideal

Very nice old building, very well appointed with everything we needed. A comfortable sitting room and bedroom. The house is in a quiet village with 3 or 4 restaurants/bars. Nice views of the coast. Our hostess was very welcoming and friendly, she could not have been more helpful. The house is on the Camino de Santiago route. So lots of walkers in the village.

The room was warm, dry and cozy after we had a long walk in the rain. We came and our clothes were wet, and our hostess helped us try them and made us very comfortable. We ate at a very nice restaurant in the town which is very sweet by the way and it was easy leaving and entering the town from the Camino.

The view of the river from our balcony. The location was a short 15 minute walk to the beach. Watching fellow pilgrims arrive into town. The courtyard was nice. The host was very helpful.

Nothing we did not like! We had our own private balcony, with a view of the lovely garden. The architecture of the building was charming. It was a very cozy place. We would find no better!

Loved the breakfast, the location, the hospitality, the personal touch, the details, our hostess who told us personal info about the hotel and town. We followed her advice to continue exploring after our arrival. This was our favorite stop of our entire 7-day Camino hike. Our luggage was already in our room closet when we arrived, we saw the ría as the tide was out but returning, the birds wading and fishing, the marvelous beach. Just a most marvelous experience!

We had some problem with consistent hot water .

This is a wonderful property. This warm and comfortable home is clean, well appointed with an excellent location by the river. The hostess was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was good…be sure to walk along the river to the beach.

I loved everything about this property and this village. I would highly recommend everyone slow down as they walk between Finisterre and Muxia and take a break in Lires. The village, the nearby beaches and Casa Raul in particular are the perfect respite.

The best place ive stayed in in my week of traveling Galicia. The Service and attention given by Rosalía was amazing. The Place, the room, the view...no words. A very good spot for taking taking time off society and relaxing

Wish real cups, not paper ones. Also perhaps provision of 2 small plates and knives? We had left-over food from the previous self-catering place, but had difficulty having this picnic meal without crockery or cutlery.

Beautiful old farmhouse building, thick cooling walls, old style kitchen left in place for decoration. Big entrance space with couch and kitchen table,huge bedroom, copper bed, huge bathroom w provision for wheelchair users. Small fridge, kettle. Paper cups. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

This is a beautiful place to stay in and it's so relaxing to lie on the sunlougers on the private terrace listening to birdsong. Rosalia is the perfect host and you are made to feel very welcome. The casa has its own entrance to a small hallway leading off to the spacious bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast is very good with home made jams which are delicious. I hope to be back some day!

Great, highly recommended experience. Very nice landlord, gave a lot of recommendations on where to go to eat or for a walk. The house is old rural style but renovated and very comfortable. There was a small balcony in my room with a table and chairs so it was nice to sit there in the evening. I also recommend ordering a breakfast, it was delicious.

Absolutely loved the balcony. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed.and great owners, everything you could wish for. Even a little goodie bag of fruit and biscuits to take on Camino the next morning. Would thoroughly recommend and if I'm ever back in the Spain this is a must stay.

Not their fault because of the thick stone walls but the Wi-Fi was intermittent. Still when you stay here who wants the internet.

Really lovely rural accommodation. Brilliant room, comfortable bed, nice shower and home produced breakfast that was really good. But most of Raul and his daughter were exceptionally great.
