The walls were quite thin and neighbouring families could be quite loud. I imagine it would be a problem if you were next door to a family from hell lol. The water system was also very loud and we learnt not to flush the toilet at night because it kept us awake and the sound of water in the pipes made us need the loo constantly

The location is fantastic. The new splash area which opened while we were there was a nice suprise too as was the updated outdoor areas . Staff were friendly and despite reviews on cleanliness , we found everything to be spotless. We only booked 3 days in between other hotel bookings as the amazingly low price had me scared it was going to be a hovel !. In the end we were gutted to be leaving and wish we had spent our whole holiday here. Will definitely be back and stay again.

I work in hospitality so am an easy going person but unfortunately when I checked in, I was treated like I was being difficult. I noticed a leak from the kitchen, it had drenched the passageway so I went downstairs and politely told them. When I told her, the receptionist made me feel like I was complaining over something like a drop of water on the floor/ The receptionist didn’t want to take a look herself and I was told that maintenance would come and take a look. She didnt tell me when, she didn’t say anything else, sat down and looked away. I asked if it were easier for me to move rooms and she said it was impossible because they were fully booked. She made me feel like I was being a nuisance so I said no problem at all and went back to my room to wait. I waited for an hour, no one came so I went downstairs and asked and she then told me I didn’t need to because the maintenance team have a key so I can leave. A little frustrated that this wasn’t communicated to me earlier.. I returned late that night, to find a fully soaked towel up against the skirting, I went into the bathroom, noticed it had flooded and that there was water coming from the ceiling. It didn’t seem right so I went downstairs to tell the night receptionist, who told me that the issue is much bigger than expected so I need to change rooms. The funny thing is that I had the option of two rooms despite them being fully booked. I mentioned I was surprised I had that option because I was told it was fully booked and the night receptionist said that yes, the day receptionist had told me that because they get people complaining so they can’t just change rooms at the drop of a hat, alluding to the fact that I was possibly acting like a princess. If only the day receptionist had just checked herself she would have understood that I wasn’t being that at all. Overall the place is fine because i was always out. Despite it being non-smoking, it smelt like cigarettes.

For the first day, I didn't have warm water; however, I can understand that the hotel opened on the day I arrived and it was closed all winter.

I liked the apartment because they moved me to another complex since the hotel was closed and it was the same standard. So, I enjoyed it. It was also quiet as I requested.

Not very clean, we found a cockroach in the bathroom and in the cupboard. Dirty utensils. Strange noises in the walls and it was very noisy when someone was passing next to the room.

Air con only worked for 10.mins. Found a cockroach on the kitchen sink. The patio door was hard to open and shut. Very old door. Water coming from the overflow above us was dripping in front of our patio door. All the apartments had buckets for it to drip into. Not hygienic! Toilet lid fell off. All of these things can be put right to make a more pleasing stay.

H Beds were comfortable. Clean apartment. Facilities ok. Location good for beach and restaurant strip. Not priced accordingly. Friendly staff on reception didn't catch his name.
