The room was small.... the roof top bar wasn't open although the area was ...which I guess is ok...but it was advertised as 24/7 but no lights on up there when the daylight had gone.

The hotel location was excellent. The room was "compact" to say the least but clean and tidy. Breakfast was more than acceptable...good range of food and pleasant staff.

Breakfast can be lot better in terms of inclusivity..today when people are moving towards veganism ..people like me is one of those...I am practicing vegan and a pure vegetarian but the options are way too limited according to the cost given per day for the hotel...I have eaten ofcourse but I was not happy given the cost per day for the hotel

Walls were paper thin, took a couple of days before we slept well due to very inconsiderate guests, heard everything (literally everything) toilet use, shower use, adult… cuddles? Some more signage from the hotel may encourage other guests to remember they’re not renting an air bnb and to be considerate when having a fumble at 2am on a Monday!

Staff were absolutely unreal! Really friendly, polite, great knowledge, spoke excellent English (despite my dreadful attempts at Spanish!) great location, had a rooftop bar, close to the beach, an easy 20 minute walk to gothic quarter, born and 2-3 minutes walk (if that) to any decent food or drink place. Taxi drop off point right outside, near to the metro and other public transport methods too. About £40 to the airport from here.

The hotel had a problem with their water system. Which they were trying to fix but meant we didn’t have access to a hot shower. This lasted 2 days. Staff were very accommodating as they let us shower in a different room.

Excellent location. room 404 had amazing views over Port Vell. Loved the roof terrace. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good.

My hotel room was disapointing - it was clean, but a lot of stuff there screamed for being repaired. This is not the quality that you are expecting from the hotel of such price. The shower was also not good - the partition in the shower was too small, so each time all the bathroom was in the water. If not the location and personnel (which/who I can only rate 10 out of 10 and which/who made my every day of 4 days of staying there pleasant and positive), I would have rated this hotel for around 5-6 rate. I think, if not the need in the location, I won't choose this hotel next time due to negative aspects that I listed. The breakfast is rather average.

Location and personnel - both was really great! Made my every day of stay. Personnel was very responsive to any of my needs. Also, there is a rather spectacular terrasse with a great view.

The room was quite dark as it faced another building which is close to the hotel - had a room in the back. We asked for another one, but didn't get it. The wardrobe is hung on the wall, which to me it made it impossible to hang a coat, for example, as too high. The facade didn't look like in the advertising pictures in booking.com - no red flowers.
