Almost nothing!

The moment you step inside the hotel , you feel entering a piece of history .. the classic well maintained reception is all what you need to feel that you will have exceptional stay ... the reception team Ali and Nesma are very friendly so you feel like home .. Christina from Reservation is there to support and explain .. even to guide you to your room .. starting from the elevator who you feel like a time chamber , the room is clean and Hygene so you can smell cleaness everywhere and ofcourse comfy .. I will not also forget the roof top restaurant and Cafe team who is having the same attitude of the whole hotel team .. thanks to Moh. Yasser and the complete team who is smiling and serving to make your day exceptional.. the view is really something worth ☺️ so can enjoy your breakfast with music and view and the vibes of decoration that makes you feel you are in different world.... Thanks Ali , Nesma , Christina and Moh. Yasser for making my stay exceptional, it is the first time to visit you but it won't be the last ..

The street noise in the superior suites is quite loud as it faces a main road and everyone is honking until very late hours. There is also a musty smell in the room because the air conditioning wasn’t on soon enough before we checked in. The bathroom fan fell out of the ceiling on our final day.

The location is excellent! Very close to everything including local bazaars and tourist activities.The elevator is really cool (think old James Bond) and the rooftop terrace was a beautiful place to eat. The included breakfast is top notch! Our bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the harbour.

I liked everything about the hotel, but it was a bit expensive.

The hotel is basically a gate to the past. I felt like if I was in an old Egyptian movie. It's very classic and chic. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. My room was clean and well maintained, although it's a bit challenging in such an ancient hotel. Location is also great with many shops and stores, also walking distance from some attractions. What I really enjoyed was the rooftop restaurant and cafe. It's available 24-hour for residents. The view was beautiful during the day and amazing at night. Overall, it was a great relaxing experience. Highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed this hotel. No complaints. The location is excellent, right by the coast. The breakfast on the rooftop area was lovely and in the evening, it turns into a bar/restaurant. The views up there were a highlight. The wifi was good. I'd happily stay here again.

the noise level in my room on the second floor was thw only thing that significantly impacted my experience negatively i couldnt sleep... this was a major disappointment..... i fully understand that the hotel cannot control external noise sources..but i believe that providing rooms on higher floors or soundproof windows could significantly improve the experience for guests

The view during breakfast was truly breathtaking... the sight of the sea stretching out endlessly... it was an outstanding view and a perfect way to start the day.... the staff was also friendly and helpful...never expected that id love the classic antique design but 4 real i loved it

The whole experience was out of this world, starting from Ahmed at the reception and how fast and accurate he was in checking me in and making sure I was comfortable, to Christina who was extremely professional and accommodating to all my requests to make sure I enjoyed my stay and that I was feeling safe and happy. The Blue Harbour restaurant has the most fascinating view and the quality of the food, and the staff never disappoint. Overall, I never choose any other hotel to stay at and always book Windsor Palace for a seamless holiday.

Not always possible to have breakfast on the terrace because a few tables only with a sea view. Noise from the street was a shame! The rooms are not soundproof.

The exquisite old palace feel. Quaint and charming. All staff, especially Ms. Christina has been helpful and friendly. The rooftop restaurant has the best sunset view. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

The room offert for 3 persons was not so confortable, we had a leak in the roof of the bathroom, it was solved by the staff but anyway we saw that at night so we have to wait until midnight to rest.

Staff from the hotel is very kind and helpful when you have any question. The hotel is well located in the middle of the citadel and the library of Alexandria so you can walk in both direction near by the sea. It was a lovely stay, The hospitality was really nice from the moment we entered the facility, specifically "Christina", she makes us feel that they were waiting for our arrival in specific. The old style makes it looks like a real palace. The room was spacious and clean with a nice side seaview. The food on the rooftop restaurant was very yummy with a marvellous and panoramic view overlooking the Cornish. I assure it's the best view ever in Alexandria. I would indefinitely love to go again soon ❤️❤️
