The common area was a little narrow and not very suitable for socializing.

The location was great, great for backpack travellers. The employees were friendly.

I didn’t expect I was going to be that comfortable in this hostel. They behave you profoundly and it is cleaner than what I expected. You cannot find good options a lot in Cairo but even if there would be more, I would give that score

All is perfect!

All the staff (Marwa & Loly & Hisham) are so nice and helpful and they make this hostel a home away from home. I have extended my stay here (for total 9 nights) and all my experience was so perfect. The location is good. The room is with air-conditioning and the bed is good and comfy with curtains and privacy. The shower rooms and toilets are nice. Their breakfast is good (and the lady who prepared breakfast for me is also very nice and friendly. Sorry I didn’t ask about her name). I enjoyed the view of Tahrir Square at the balcony. Also I’ve booked an excursion to black and white desert with them and that’s a very amazing camping experience. Would highly recommend this hostel to anyone who’s visiting Cairo!

This is the best hostel in downtown Cairo. You will feel welcome from the moment you step into the hostel. They also offer complimentary drinks while you wait to check in. Marwa at the reception and Krolus are approachable, friendly and very helpful. You can ask them where to get good and inexpensive souvenirs, and they also offer tours around Egypt. The rooms are nice and very affordable. There is a shared bathroom, but I didn't have any problems with it. The bathroom is well-maintained and clean. I will definitely book here again if I get a chance to go back to Egypt.

Nothing it is more expensive than other hostels in the area in general BUT the value delivered well exceeded the premium I paid The hostel location could be hard to find but its the building entrance is in-between KFC and a travel company

1. Super great hospitality of the hostel with exceptional service i.e. allow me to store luggage during my first day in Cairo (which I only stay for 4 hours before transiting to Aswan) which my booking is on 7th day after . 2. 24 hour front desk with friendly staff, allow customers to use bathroom & toliet even after check out 3. Comfy bed and tranquil environment even it's located at Tahrir Square 4. Convenient location just near KFC at Tahrir Square 5. None of the staff asks for tips or anything which is very rare in Egypt .

About price to desert when adking they say 100 US when pay charge more 113.

Staff was very nice but one thing that I dont understand that when i asked for a trip to desert day say 100 US but when I go so they charge me 113 more so it seem I pay the most expensive in group. But other else was so good to me I think I get more than I give. Except the trip price for Desert 🤣 and when you do it they ask you for a tip too.

The first room that we stayed was pretty dark because it had no window looking up to street. But the second room was opposite since it was on the street and it we had some sunlight. Also the bathrooms can be more clean.

The staff was super helpful and understanding. The location was just PRERFECT. There is no better location as a tourist. We booked private room and they were tidy too.

I kind of didn't understand that we don't have our own bathroom (we booked a room with 3 beds), but it didn't matter at the end, because they have two bathrooms and one toilet and they are cleaned every day multiple times per day and there are not many rooms/people in the hostel, tehrefore no crowds! :)

The staff was suuuuper nice, very helpful and they cook/prepare the breakfast in the local way! The location is amazing for different sighsteeings and it is cool for walking around downtown at night (walking distance), where it's plenty of bars and street food vendors. There are also many Ubers around due to the good location. The staff also cleans the premises all the time. The hostel does not have many rooms, so there is no crowd, not even for the bathrooms. They have a 24h reception as well. There is a small shop downstairs on the street where you can buy cheap water bottles, chips and some sweets. It is extremely good value for money! We enjoyed it very very much! Thank you for the great welcome!!

Not at all. I would like a more western style breakfast but this is a personal experience.

The apt entrance is old but clean. The hostel is on the first floor. The staff is awesome. ibrahim checked me in. All the other ladies are also super friendly .They helped me a lot. The owner is a young and ambitious guy. The room is right by Tahrir. So be prepared for a bit of noise since thousands of cars are honking. Actually, the window/glass door is really good at soundproofing and also blocking the sun. The showers had good water pressure and hot water.
