Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaNo fault of the property itself. The surrounding infrastructure is poorly developed but it is a trade off, proximity and view of the pyramids is excellent and the surroundings add to the experience but I think the Egyptian government could do more to develop the area and apparently they will be. considering it is so close to the most amazing structures on the planet, it should be improved.
All the staff were helpful and very friendly.

PolandWe spent 3 days in this hotel. If you want to see the Giza pyramids, there is probably no better place. The hotel has recently been renovated. It's clean and quiet. The view from the terrace is dazzling. But the greatest advantage of this hotel is the exceptionally polite, helpful, friendly and unobtrusive staff, who also speak English. Thank you very much to all the hotel staff. We felt safe and taken care of by you. :)

United StatesI will say that it is a little hard to find as it is tucked back off the road in an alley, and it is not obvious to a taxi driver how to get there. I think they need a website that has written instructions on the best route.
Soul Pyramids View really does have a front-row, unobstructed view of the pyramids. There used to be buidings in front of it, but they have been demolished (you can still see the debris, but this is typical in Egypt). The rooftop terrace is AMAZING, and you can see not only the pyramids, but you are also very close to the Sphinx and the Sound & Light Show venue. But no need to buy tickets to the light show, you can see it from the hotel, you are that close! Equally as great is the owner and staff. They went out of the way to make me comfortable and happy, they were genuinely eager to help. They went out of their way to provide a wonderful breakfast before my early-morning departure, carried my heavy luggage, and helped arrange my taxis. Also, they made me dinner of "mixed grill" which was so good, it was among the best food I had on my 2-week trip across Egypt. My room was new, everything was clean, and it was great for my stay.

The view of the pyramids. It has the best view and probably the closest view to the pyramids and the gates of the entrance of the pyramids are probably 50m away . Outside the gates of property is little dusty but that normal because you walking to the pyramids. Mohammed replies quick and is super helpful. Theres another Mohammed who works for him and I asked him about restaurants close by and he walked me directly to the restaurant. Honestly service was better than the 5 star hotels I stayed at . If I come back I’ll definitely stay here

United Arab EmiratesNot about the hotel but about the city and country; I write this because I want every citizen of Egypt should do something to improve the experience of visitors and also improve their life standards. As hotel owners or workers, please do something to organize a cleaning campaign for the streets of your cities. Streets are really very dirty. This is just one of the reasons I am not sure to visit Egypt again and you can do something about it.
Very clean rooms. New furnitures. Friendly staff. Everything was ok for me as a person who loves travelling and has stayed in many hotels around the world. For me, it was better than most of the 3-4 star hotels in many cities I stayed in Europe in terms of cleanliness, comfort and breakfast. Our rooms had a full view of pyramids from the room and balcony. I hope they keep it like this. It is in a silent side of noisy and crowded city and you escape from the chaos and have a good rest. About hotel, everything is ok for me, but a little bit improvement for breakfast may be added like some more fruit alternatives.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast in the property had limited selection. While the food was tasty, it would be great to expand the menu to cater to a wider range of preferences.

United KingdomWe asked the staff if they can book us a taxi from the hotel to the airport at 12am and was overcharged. They asked for E£1200 when usually it’s E£500. Instead we booked an Uber which cost us E£400. Tip- Uber works well around the area and is very reliable.
The property was beyond my expectations. We got the King size room with a jacuzzi and stayed for 1 night. The room had a very homey vibe to it rather than a hotel but this was very nice. We had an unobstructed view of the pyramids from our jacuzzi and it was amazing. Wish we stayed longer and would happily book again!

United KingdomEverything is amazing. The staff is respectful and very helpful and they make the most for your stay to be great. It’s super clean, new and the terrace has amazing views, I would recommend going there for sunset and sunrise especially. The area surrounding the hotel has a police checkpoint so you feel safe while walking around. It’s very simple but great experience.

United KingdomNothing.
Brand new hotel. Everything is new with great view of pyramids. It's a given that it is in Giza which is not the most attractive places full of horse and Camel poo. But, you can't beat the location. Staff were great and the owner was very nice. They also arranged a horse carriage for us to visit the pyramids. The entrance is literally a few min walk from the hotel. We booked the best room which had a jacuzzi. The view from the rooftop was excellent.
