Not much to say here, but perhaps only the food is not quite up to european standards. Don't get me wrong - the choice is huge and there is nothing wrong with the food, but for example the "beef steak" dinner is not based on a real steak but on a bit inferior piece of meat. And then similarly for everything else. The preparation is flawless, the ingredients could be on a bit higher level.

Amazing resort for the price, cleanliness and the staff were way above expectations. They went out of their way to make sure we get an early check-in since we had a very early flight, and the whole experience was flawless.

If I had to criticise, the organisation was a bit chaotic (someone told me the management was changing and they were adapting systems, which could explain it) but sometimes it felt confusing what people told you (opening times, event times, where to ask for what). but on a human level I enjoyed the care and help from the staff. nice people, the Egyptians, in my experience. It was my first time in such a resort, we would never usually come to a place like this and usually prefer independent travelling, backpacking, homestays etc, but as this trip was for my mother in law, in a wheelchair, we decided for this resort to keep things simple and easy for us all. My main disappointment was actually with the other tourists, who were all a bit dead behind the eyes sometimes, switched off in the brain! walking infront of us like zombies at the buffet...maybe that is what goes with packages, people go to not think! then they lie by the (admittedly nice) artificial pool, rather than go snorkel on the real coral reef right outside! strange. Also, the guys coming round upselling the spa or diving or quad-bikes were quite often, but its their job, so what can you do... My experience in Egypt is to use humor, they like to laugh, rather than get annoyed... In general the food was fine, I tended to eat the Egyptian and oriental food they offered, to try it, but also figuring they know best how to make this. it was tasty, also especially the Indian curries made by an Indian guy and Egyptian breakfast beans. nice!! I didnt try the EU food too much so cannot fully comment. one time we ate at the "Italian" restaurant and it was pretty meh what I had. The animation and music and noise and so on would have been annoying if we had been in rooms nearer to the stages, but we had a lovely quiet room away from all that. But I guess this is common on all these types of hotels. baby shark for the kids and all that...

the staff were very friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to help us. we were travelling with kids and my mother in law who recently suffered a stroke and wanted to travel again, and it was a huge effort for her the whole trip, in a wheelchair etc. The hotel were lovely, they picked us up, gave us a fantastic room right on the beach, in the best spot. They were very helpful and accommodating whenever we asked for anything. The design, architecture and styling of the space is very nice, generally made with taste, real materials and even though of course it is a fantasy-land arabic-world inspired construction, I liked the space and what the architects had done. The coral-reef out front is pretty ok (I have been to a few world-class dive sites) and was better than I expected. Some people saw turtles. Beach is nice, and the place in general was SPOTLESS. They water slides added recently were fun.

We had to counter the loud guest neighbours at 3 a.m. but it was not the hotel's fault.

Large number of sunbeds. Several pools, 2 comfortably heated in winter. Nubian style rooms, nicely decorated. Very good food, well organized service, attentive waiters. All orher staff perfect, ready to help, smiling, greeting. 2 coral molo's. Great public accessible beach 1 km north of the hotel with amazing corals and tranquil water.

We have been to quite a few countries and I won’t be exaggerating when I say this is by far our best hotel experience. The staff is what makes this place exceptional, their passion & attention to details are like no other. From Mr Ahmed the hotel manager to restaurants and room service staff, everyone is smiling and welcoming all the time! Mr Ahmed the manager is very professional & helpful. He was always available whenever we needed to make changes to our booking. Staff in main restaurant offered a top notch customer service, each time we walked into the restaurant, kids were greeted and offered special drinks. Also, I was amazed by how clean everything & everywhere was. Will definitely come back next time we visit Egypt. Although the staff was nice overall we both got irritated at the amount of times staff at the restaurant, when having breakfast, lunch or dinner, asked us for spare change. Same happened with the room cleaning service... Even after we tipped the guy... It makes you think if employees are really nice or do they all have second intentions and see guests as a money bag! I would happily tip if I genuinely liked the service but basically begging for money is very inconsiderate towards us. Even with this we would totally come back to pickalbatros don't get us wrong. It's just something to watch out for.

The hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern, with a walk-in shower. The food at the several restaurants was amazing, with plenty of different options. There were plenty of pools at the hotel, one of them with seawater and another with water slides + lazy river. At the beach, which was right in front of the hotel, you could see beautiful coral reefs with plenty of different fishes so take your snorkeling gear with you! Overall it's a wonderful place to rest for a few days without worrying about much and having several options to distract yourself.

We really enjoyed our stay there Every thing was excellent .rooms very clean , the cleanliness of the hotel generally very good , there are bars every were and the food perfect ( variety & test ) excellent The most important thing and the best point in this hotel (( The Stuff )) they were really wonderful from the duty manager ( Mr. Rady selim ) who was very very professional and friendly in the same time and help us in many situations and showed great interest in a sophisticated style .. he really understand how to treat with the guests and also the front office manager ( mr.
