The could colour the outside of the building to make it look less shabby and make more effort in making the reception area look nice. But I think it is a relatively new place and baby steps towards development.

The outside might look a bit shabby but the rooms are beautiful and the owner/manager is a very nice and helpful person. The rooftop restaurant is very nice and offers a great view as well. They have fast and immediate room service.

We could suggest to bring earplugs if you prefer to go to bed early (there is an athletic field near-by where school kids are practicing their soccer skils). But, it gets quiet around 10 p.m.

The BEST hotel manager you can ever meet! Hassan is an incredible person who genuinely cares about his guests and tries to make them happy in every possible way. This is a kind of place where you artive as a guest and leave as a friend. Hassan's commitment to his guests is truly inspiring. He is always available for any questions and advice, and yet is always diplomatic and soft-spoken. Hassan also has a great sense of humour and talking with him is always a delight, in addition - his English language skills are fantastic. The hotel is located near the ferry dock and sees quite a bit of traffic - you are going to experience a real part of Luxor. It is a great place to stay for independent travellers who are looking for an authentic experience without tourist crowds. The rooms are basic, but super clean and very spacious, the linen and towels are all clean and fresh; the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable as well. You also have a very kind employee Mohammed to look after you - he is always helpful, attentive, and does a great job keeping everything clean and safe. The price for this place is also excellent. The hotel has a large rooftop terrace for sweeping views over the Nile. This is also where a lunch bufet is available frim 11a.m. to 3 p.m. We tried the food there, and were also very happy with the selection, price, and attitude. Yes, we were VERY happy with this hotel team, and could HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to those travellers who appreciate a genuine local hospitality!

Stuff smoking at reception the first night, but when I complained, this was not repeated on the second. If you are a non smoker, let them know when you arrive. Towels are too small to count as bathroom towels.

Good location close to the ferry terminal and excellent views from the roof top restaurant. We were treated like VIPs, Mdouh came to pick us up from the bus station when we arrived and then took us all the way to the airport when we were leaving. He also offered good value excursions and was responsive when help was needed. We had a large room with 5 beds for only 2 of us, which helped me choose the best pillow. Overall good budget hotel.

when I was there, there are many contruction in progress nearby so the environment a bit dirty, noisy abd dusty

the room is very big and nile river view. therr is rooftop too a d breakfast at rooftop. The staff is realy nice. the location is peefect, walking distance to boat pier/ public ferry pier.

Well situated.5 mns from thé boat going to est bank. Practical if you want to do air balloon or visit thé tombs. You are on thé good side. Right near thé few restaurants. Very kind Host. Organisés tour and is very helpful . Quiet place. Breakfast on thé roof top Thé hôtel IS simply furnished but clean .bé careful of thé mosquitoes

First night stay was very noisy, as the hostel had a wedding party.

It is convenient, it is just 100 metre from the ferry. It wasn't by the road, but can be seen from road, it is located next to Nile roof hostel which is by the road. Owner Hassan is extremely helpful. Please negotiate hard with price on any tour organised by hotel.

We had a beautiful and unique experience at this homestay. The boys were very nice and friendly. Beautiful Nile view from the rooftop and the rooms are confortabile and clean, also the place is close to the ferry(3 min walking) We highly recomand this homestay! Thank you for everything 🤗

Smoking in the hallway but management moved their smoking location when asked. No place to put luggage in the room but for the bargain price I could live without it.

Boutique hotel on 2nd floor of building, only 1 flight of stairs to climb. Nice continental breakfast. Separate shower in bathroom. Our room had a terrace, it just needed some chairs. Wonderful view from the upstairs terrace where you can enjoy something from the onsite restaurant. Great location, only a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Less busy than the East side of Luxor which is a 10 minute public ferry ride away. Large assortment of local restaurants that cater to expats (fish and chips anyone?). Expect a daily government mandated 1-2 hour power outage. Close to Valley of the Kings AND Valley of the Queens.

For improvement, you might consider adding some facilities, such as drying racks.

The hotel, situated on the West Bank, offers great value for a basic stay with all essential amenities. I personally prefer the tranquility of the West Bank, although the East Bank hosts larger hotels and more noise, housing most attractions and shops. The rooftop view is delightful, and the proximity to the ferry dock, just a 3-minute walk away, adds to the convenience. Despite booking a room with 2 single beds, we were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious room with 4 single beds. A tip for visitors: Aswan experiences daily power cuts at varying times and locations. During our stay, it occurred from 6pm - 7pm (around 1 hours) for Nile Roof Hotel. *Bring your headlamp. Hassan, the accommodating owner, facilitated a reasonably priced car booking to the Valley of the Kings. His proficiency in English made communication easy. Additionally, he graciously allowed a late check-out without extra charges to accommodate our later bus reservation. The booking included a simple breakfast comprising 1 egg, 2 slices of bread, a banana, and tea.

We quite liked this place. It's conveniently located by the public ferry terminal on the West bank of the Nile. The room was spacious, clean and had three more beds than we required. The shower had great water pressure and temperature control and was heavenly after a sweaty day hiking through the valleys. The view from the rooftop was beautiful! Hassan was helpful and had a sense of humor that was a rare treat in Luxor. It's not a fancy building or anything, but AC and wifi worked fine, so all up it was great value for us. Very conveniently located next to the local ferry. Also the neighborhood is a little more chilled out, with a local street food vibe in the evening.
