Perfect stay for exploring Cairo. Top location (many sights on walking distance) and friendly / helpful staff! Rooms could have been cleaner, but for us it was ok, as we don’t spend much time in it.

The light in the bathroom has a sensor and it takes a very long time to turn off. In the morning it gets a little noisy.

I really liked my accommodation. It was newly renovated and clean. You have a fridge in the room what facilitates for having cold water. The staff are amazingly kind and you feel kind of at home in their place. From there you reach easily el Tahrir whe you find nice cafés. They also have apartments closer to El-Tahrir, what are really in very good level.

As a hostel, the location of this place is great, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They were mindful of all our needs and understanding of our overall travel requirements.

The bathroom and the room didn't have good soundproofing. Also, there was quite a bit of noise at night from construction work inside the building; however, once we informed the manager, the problem was immediately resolved.

The only hotel during our stay in Egypt that had women at the reception. The staff was very friendly and willing to help us with whatever we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. They also provided breakfast on the balcony, which was very convenient. The location was quite good, close to everything.

The entrance of the hotel can be a bit confusing. It looked very run down and the lift was interesting. However, it looks like a proper check in counter when you reach the check in level. The staff brought us to the other level and it was a totally different look from the photo. (The level we initially tried to check in was the same as the photo) Moreover the floor had another sign board of the hostel name. Not sure if they put us in a cheaper room or not. Otherwise the room was specious and the balcony was simple but good enough.

Good location, close to town and lots of eating options. Easily can reach out many tourist attractions within short distance. There was a small cafe just outside of the hotel, their food was unexpectedly great. And they charged us the correct bill (unlikely like many other restaurants - e.g. adding 50% of service charges). Staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast was served.

The location was excellent and not far from Tahir Square. Manager Mahmaud, Migo, Syed and receptionist girl who has beautiful smile (forgot her name) are super friendly and welcoming. If I visit Cairo again, definetly I will book this place again.

1. The window inside my room doesn't shut all the way through. Had to deal with flies in the morning and mosquitos at night which disturbed my sleep 2. The refrigerator was leaking water from the freezer and I couldn't put any food inside due to how wet it was. 3. I requested an early check in and sent a message to the property to confirm. I did not receive any replies before my arrival. I recommend they improve their response rate to customers

The wifi is a bit slow from time to time.

The staff was very friendly, always available and looking to solve any eventual problem, not that there where any :) Cairo is a busy hub, so it is a bit noisy at night, but this is no matter where you stay I guess. Finally the Metro is in walking distance, some nice local places to smoke Shisha and have a tea are around the corner.

The only complaints about the room was the bathroom. The shower was great, but the bathroom has no door only a sort of plastic curtain so it’s not private at all. The sink also didn’t drain so it was full for the whole trip which was a pain. Also as usual with these sort of places the hostel is on the 4th floor of an abandoned unsafe building, it’s hard to find but a local will usually point you in the right direction.

The rooms were nice and big with decent comfy beds. Lots of plug sockets near the beds and LOADS, in fact probably too many, lights! Staff were nice enough but we didn’t interact with them at all after check in, we had to ask for towels and toilet paper as they weren’t in the room. The location is great, being in the centre of Downtown Cairo. The room was surprisingly quiet compared to another hostels we stayed in, which was a pleasant surprise. Very good value for money, most hostels In this area are an absolute dive but this was a very pleasant stay.

We arrived late in the evening and Mahmoud was there to great us personally offering us tea. The room was large and comfortable. There was a fridge and TV. Breakfast was included which we had on the balcony. Good value for money and central.

In our room there was no hair dryer, had to go to another room (that’s a minor detail that can easily be overlooked taking into account all the advantages)

The room was absolutely beautiful! A lot of space, a lovely balcony, comfortable beds. The location is central-close to many attractions, that’s a nice part of the city. We could have our breakfast in the room! I had some problems in the room while staying but thanks to the managers all of them were easily resolved. Good value for money!
