How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I requested for a twin bedroom but they gave us a queen size bedroom, not a big problem but it would have been nice if we get what we booked.
It's on the east bank just beside the Luxor Temple! Breakfast was nice and lots of options. We also purchased our tour via Magic Carpet in the hotel and it did not disappoint! Amazing service and worth the money!

Great breakfast. Great view. Everything was great from the start. Our cleaner, Mr Zizul has been great from the start, always attentive to our needs. And he is always friendly. Front counter reception was fantastic too.

I loved this hotel. From the rooftop terrace, you can see the Luxor Temple! Everything was made easy. They carried my bag up to the 3rd floor where my room was. I like elevators, but also 3 floors is not that much to walk. The room was very beautifully decorated, it has a fridge and the AC works instantly. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom new and clean. Everything was clean, actually. The staff is very nice, from the reception to the waiters and maintenance workers. It must be one of the most popular hotels, since a lot of taxi and calesa drivers are by the end of the street, ready to take you anywhere for a good price. I found quite a lot of hussle in Luxor, but if you joke with them, everything gets easier. I recommend Adam's calesa (16yo lovely kid). About the hotel, special note about their delicious food and the terrace by the street, all shadowed and with open air AC. Don't miss their banana and chocolate fteer!! It provides all the power your body needs after long walks under the Sun. I think it must be the best area to stay in Luxor as a tourist. Karnak is 3km away (took Adam's calesa for 100eg). The hotel arranged my visit to the West Bank, I think the price was a little high but I didn't want to bargain and anyway I ended up giving tip (not asked to), cause the service was perfect and the car really comfortable. Also you are next to that big square where you should visit Aboudi bookstore, and if you want to enjoy daily Luxor, in 10' you are in television street for shopping (Google it :)).

The ambience and traditional look of the property is a highlight. Also, it is so close to luxor temple and karnak temple by walking distance. The view from the terrace restaurant of the hotel is also exceptional.

It sits right in the middle of a tourist trap. Beware of the hawkish taxi drivers, Tonga riders and overzealous shop keepers.
Excellent location. Within 50m to Luxor Temple. The staff is amazingly helpful and problem solving. What ever were the limitations with the property were made up by the hospitality of the staff. The roof top breakfast is brilliant.

The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and this hotel is a fond memory of my stay in Luxor. I lost their spoon, but the hotel said it was okay. Thank you very much here

Didn't like the level of 'in your face' harassment on ground level by taxi drivers and horse carriage owners..It's the responsibility of the hotel to ensure patrons feel safe around the premises however the quantity and quality of touting going on downstairs made the stay totally unenjoyable and would never stay there again for that reason. The area needs a major clean up of this constant harassment.
Loved the view from the rooftop and the great on site restaurant.

A few minor niggles, shower needs some love but really minor stuff.
Very friendly staff. Right opposite the Luxor Temple and close to the railway. Quiet side road\alley.

The showr curtain was really close. And it will be better if there is a slippers in the room.
All the staff are friendly especially reem and Ahmed. the room was really beautiful there was hot water. The breakfast was so delicious and the hotel has an amazing rooftop that you can relax. The hotel and the room were clean thanks to Mohamed he did a great job. The hotel location is perfect near to Luxor temple and there a lot of cafes around. Definitely will come again.

Bathroom was difficult to shower in due to size of area and shower curtain set up. Sink faucet was loose.
Good location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Great sunset view from the rooftop restaurant. Had our laundry done within a couple hours. Room was clean and comfortable.
