The 2-bed Private room was clean and spacious. The staff were very kind and accommodating. We arrived around 3am and had trouble getting the elevator to work - Hostel is on the 10th floor of the building. The front desk staff came down immediately to help. The appearance of the elevator is somewhat off-putting, but it worked for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was very good quality and we enjoyed the rooftop sitting area. The location is within easy walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Lastly, I am a light sleeper and it was high above all the beeping from cars below. Still would be earplugs, though. Highly recommend a stay at this hostel!

I'm just not a fan of shared bathrooms anywhere 😅

Decent hostel with nice views in a great location. However, what sets this place apart is their staff. A group of the coolest guys worked during my stay. They made the place feel like home and helped out with all my concerns (I had a lot!). I am not really a fan of hostels and have never stayed in one so cheap. So I was surprised when this place far exceeded my expectations. Even the wonky elevator felt perfectly safe once I figured it out. The layout and 24/7 atmosphere was highly conducive to meeting a lot of great people. Even so, I was also able to rest well in a quiet room next to the main lobby. There was a hot water heater in each of the showers so even for a late riser like me there was always enough. The dorm beds had privacy curtains that actually covered the whole bed and provided much needed darkness for my sleep in mornings. There are a few different places to relax and eat with shockingly comfortable furniture. But again the staff really made the place welcoming. They were always smiling and striking up conversations with guests and some speak several languages. They were very familiar with the city and gave excellent advice about what to do and the best way to do it. I did take 1 tour from them and had an amazing time. I was initially really bummed about the price, but it was actually worth it compared to other tours I've taken elsewhere. My driver, Osama, was so sweet and safe. My guide, Haidy, was so smart and knowledgeable about everything related to ancient Egypt. I was impressed with her depth of knowledge and excitement about the subject. She gives tours everyday, but she had the enthusiasm of a newbie. I would definitely return to Cairo and stay here for the good times. I doubt I'd have had the same feeling had I stayed in a hotel or private room. 10/10 highly recommend

I liked everything about this place! It's my third time here. It is always a pleasure as the staff are amazing. Just like family. I love the location, close to metro, restaurants and shops. Very clean and great breakfast! Nice and quiet too!

The entrance of the building is a little darker maybe adding an extra light would help. But I have to say when you go to the 10 floor is another world, you feel really well, confortable and save.

The people who works in this hostel are really helpful, they are always there to answer any question you could have and they will do any they can to answer your needs. I have to say they are really nices. Always smiling and positives. Thank u again.

We had arranged airport pick-up and they were a no show. I messaged the hostel and after 15 min we grabbed a cab (at the same price the hotel had quoted). I was annoyed when we got there and were asked for an explanation - apparently they were relying on some website and not the time i had told them. So perhaps skip the airport pick up.

Funky place. We had the studio apartment which was lovely - well set up and a real treat to be able to unwind (really very quiet in the unit). Unfortunately the balcony is tiny so sitting out there is really not an option. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff unfailingly kind and helpful. As others have noted it is a bit tricky to find - the top two floors of a multi-use building so that can be a challenge the first time.

Very good location, very close to the Egyptian museum (~2min walk). Breakfast is great to start the day. People are really nice, friendly and helpful. Just the perfect spot to stay when in Cairo

I liked everything. Actually, the hostel was one of the highlights of my stay in Cairo! :-)

- central location: 5 minutes from Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum - location on the 10th floor - great view of Tahrir Square from the lounge - staff - a bunch of fantastic people - multilingual, exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and just nice to be around with :-) - relaxed atmosphere created by the staff and other travellers - delicious breakfast every morning! - good wi-fi! - luggage storage (even after checking out)
