Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNever stayed at a 5 star hotel that didn’t have irons available. Breakfast needs improving.
Staff extremely helpful. Very kind and very courteous. Arranged an amazing trip to Giza with guide and this was 1/2 to a 1/3 of the price online. Rooms very clean and brand new. Hotel staff very helpful for using talabat and that gives lots of food options.

United Arab EmiratesIt is on a main road and you can hear the noise of the cars going past, if you're a light sleeper. Also take care with the directions if you miss the turn you could end up driving an extra 15 minutes to reach the hotel GPS isn't always the right way.
The room was spacious and exactly as shown in pictures - room 402. The staff were very helpful especially with arranging included breakfast for 330am due to Ramadan timings. You can see the pyramids from the rooftop although there are obstacles due to the hotel in front renovating. I would stay here again in future.

SwitzerlandHave earplugs and be ready if you are a light sleeper, as the windows aren't the best sound proof, and the traffic noise is constant (maybe quieter between 1am-5am).
Location is super if you have limited time to see Giza Plateau and GEM. Hotel also arranged our airport transfers, tour of the pyramids, day-trip to Saqqara and Memphis which was helpful, and we had a pleasant guide and reliable driver. We felt safe staying at the hotel and with our transportations arranged by them. Hotel also helped getting our local SIM Card (a must for foreigners), and anti-diarrhea medicine prior our arrival. We also ate our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, limited choices but alright just for a couple days. All management and staff were friendly, pleasant and spoke good English.

United Arab EmiratesWe arrived when there was a power outage (no fault of the hotel as this is egypt wide). however, was unpleasant climbing up stairs in what felt like an abandoned building with the 2 and 3 rd floors actually looking quite bad and no railings at stairs. The surrounding areas did not feel very safe so we did not really dare to walk around though we did have drivers so not an issue. Was not able to set the aircon well and tried to sleep with windows open which was impossible due to road noise.
Hotel room was clean, comfortable and functional. Overall per the pictures and location is very close to Pyramids of Giza as well as the new museum. Value for money considering the price, especially since we went in last week of December which is peak season. Staff is friendly and earnest, and very keen to help.

GermanyThe hotel is not on the basement and on the first flour. This could surprise some. Noise coming from the street is important. An explanation how to use the safe could be helpful. The safe in Egypt does not work as we are used to in Europe Hotels.
Everything was really good. Of course it is not an international 4 stars but the room offers confort of international niveau. Price is good which permits you to profit from additional support from the hotel and in particular from Mr Tamer to get driver and Guide to visit all important sightseeings in Kairo areas and being safe. We recommend Pyramide and sphinx in Gisa, saqqara, menphis and museum of the caire. Dinner on the boat , may be not for all Europe tastes. Important is that you are safe and you will get support if you face any kind of difficilties. This has great value consudering that the size of the Caire could be scaring. Nice view on the Pyramiden from the top of the hotel. I recommend this hotel if you are travelling to the Caire alone or in couple alone without any international travel office support.

United StatesBreakfast could be better if they have a menu that you can point to and say this is how you want your eggs or omelet to be cooked and they can add few more items to the selection of the breakfast. Rooftop can also be improved and softer pillows please :)

United KingdomReally enjoyed our stay here very friendly hotel. Staff were superb including the manager. Once the manager realised i could only eat gluten free bread he went especially to get me some. rooms were cleaned daily and kept to a very high standard. The staff were excellent, they would go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable,It is a 20 minute walk to pyramids and the shops are about a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was pleasant and varied. Our departure flight was late at night at 2am and even though we checked out that afternoon the manager was kind enough to give us another room free of charge till we left for the airport. Overall an excellent experience will definitely will be staying again.
