We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EgyptThe hotel is not that close to Tunis village and you need a tuc tuc to get there.
The staff was amazing. From the owner of the hotel to everyone on his team, they are really committed to making your stay as good as possible. We also did the safari with them and traveled around the city with their tuc tuc-driver. Every experience was perfect.

United KingdomThe main restaurant is a bit dilapidated and the water kept going off/was being turned off. The power fluctuated. It isn't near to the village and although it was easy to get a tuc tuc into the village it was trickier to find one to take us back
The design of the accomodation was lovely with curved roofs and tasteful decor. The pool was lovely. We had breakfast and dinner which both offered excellent local cuisine.

We were upgraded without even asking, which was really appreciated. The suite was super spacious, with two balconies, and would be ideal for two couples or a family.

United KingdomThe hotel was undergoing a lot of construction, likely for the coming winter season. The restaurant wasn’t really a restaurant - no menu, everything covered in building dust - but did do a passable dinner and breakfast. The family room was very tired. Everything in the bathroom leaked, there was no hot water, the bedroom sloped towards the middle and the sofa bed was completely broken. The main issue appeared to be a lack of staff: It took 90 minutes to get camp beds set up for the kids (in place of the sofa bed) and when we went to bed we found there was no sheet on our bed either. It was hard to get towels for the pool and almost impossible to get a soft drink. The hotel is unfortunately located next to a small but particularly noisy water park. I was forced to move my car from in front of the water park to in front of the hotel entrance - only to find the next morning that it had been scraped down the side - presumably by a careless worker.
The hotel has a nice style of building, good location near lake Qarun and good pool. The outdoor areas and roof terrace looked like they could have been great (but felt totally neglected). Khalid on reception and Salah in the restaurant were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel arranged a desert day trip for us at a reasonable cost and with less than 24 hours notice and sent us off with a packed breakfast.
