I loved everything about this property. A small and intimate and friendly property. Very attentive, friendly, and helpful staff. Great location to walk to many things, including a bustling downtown. But neighborhood is safe and with the windows closed very quiet.

Everything was great.

The room was spacious with lovely decor and had not one but two balconies where we could have breakfast. The location was perfect and once we mastered the layout of the streets, we could walk or take the metro to pretty much anywhere. As for the staff, they went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all the little extras such as arranging for an Egyptian breakfast, welcome drinks and arranging transport were very much appreciated. We would definitely go back..

Room was a bit dated and Egyptian beds are more solid than we were used to. However, it met our needs well and compared to a couple of stays in Egypt, this was by far the best experience.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Similar breakfast platter to others I’ve had in Egypt, but this came with more fresh fruit, fresh juice, it was lovely. Hotel staff were so accommodating and helpful. They gave us recommendations for the area, extra drinks and water when we asked, and assisted us with anything we asked about. Service was 10/10. This place is probably the best we could get in Cairo without booking a 5* hotel.

The location was excellent! Tahrir square and the metro station is in 10 min walk. McDonald’s is 10 min walk. The staff is so friendly and helpful! Surely recommend this place.

This is technically not a hotel but an apartment on the third floor of the building converted into a guest house. While this makes it a cosy place, you will hear everything from your co-guests or from the kitchen. More attention should be given to cleanliness and efforts should be made in the bathroom to get more water pressure. Slightly over-priced

The location is central and perfect to reach almost all must-visit sites by walking (souq khan al khalili, mosques, zamalek etc etc). The staff is very nice and helpful and will be very happy to give recommendations and assistance. While you won’t be given option for your breakfast food, it is of good quality, home-made and copious.

Staff were exceptional and exemplary in their behaviour. Nothing was too much for them . All the rooms are on the 3 rd floor . Breakfast was provided in one’s room. No dedicated dining room or restaurant. Some of the rooms are quite small . The hotel was homely and the warmth of the staff was personal and was so impressive that nothing else mattered. Would go back any day purely for this .

There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

Would highly recommend this hotel in downtown Cairo. The staff are exceptional, they really go above and beyond for their guests and will offer assistance with anything you may need. Breakfast was very generous and throughout our stay we were offered unexpected juices and other goodies. You can ask for tea or coffee anytime of day and they will be flexible if you need a very early breakfast for example. The room was very comfortable and clean with nice finishing touches for the guests. It was such a welcoming experience and it's obvious that this hotel prices itself in customer service. Definitely recommended, would stay there again without hesitation.

It is not the fault of the hotel, but the noise from the road work right in front of the hotel was tremendous and we could not sleep on some nights (they worked from around 2am to 6am or so). Also, the building in front of the hotel was in construction so the street was full of rubble and dust.

Very convenient location to do things on foot, relatively close to historic areas and museums we wanted to visit, friendly and helpful staff, clean room. Free pick up and transport from airport when we arrived.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. We felt like we are at home. Coffee and snacks are served anytime. I mean anytime. We went out and came back late to the hotel and we could get coffee and snacks.

Everything was perfect, staff extremely helpful at all times of the day with currency exchange and directions and the breakfast excellent. The only negative point was that our room was situated on a noisy back street which although we enjoyed the views from the small balcony during the day, at night the noise proved too much for a good sleep.

Uber finds it difficult to find the exact location for pick up.

We stayed at the beginning and end of our Egypt trip at Crown hotel. Both times everything was great. The hotel made sure we feel good and served free snacks in the afternoon. At the end of our second stay the hotel offered us a free transport to the airport. Thank you once again!

Hotel is located in the city centre, many important sightseeing sights are within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and made sure we feel 100% comfortable. We received a free room upgrade and they also offered us free snacks each afternoon.

The lift didn't always work (this was probably a "whole building" issue). You had to know where to stand to get the best WIFI connection.

Staff went out of their way to be welcoming and assist with my induction to Cairo.
