Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The room I was given was beautiful, vintage and absolutely spotless, the bed was comfortable and the hosts were super lovely and helpful; I had a bus at 6am and they called a taxi for me! The hotel is also located in the perfect location, very close to everything.

I love the fact the breakfast they provide is made with freshly made fruit juices, fresh housemade jam and fresh bread from a local bakery.To me it does make a difference and helps you appreciate the effort they put in make sure the guess needs are met. The hotel is within 15 walking distance from the main park and local tourits spots and attracctions.

Nice big room with sitting area, table, mirror, comfortable bed and closet. Excellent location 10 min walk from parque Calderon. Very good internet in room and common areas - able to teach Zoom classes. Marcos and Rafael were very helpful and attentive.

EcuadorThe beds were harder than I like, but, that seems the norm here in Ecuador.
The hotel manager went above and beyond to help us with all our requests and needs. Breakfast came with our accommodations and it was excellent. We were able to get a taxi right outside the hotel lobby. The hotel was in the historic center of Cuenca. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive.

I’ve been travelling for 8 months now and can honestly say that no other place made me feel as welcome and comfortable as the team at Hotel Yanuncay. Not only was our room upgraded but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, answer our questions, and overall provide an impeccable service. Especially Marcus was always quick to lend a helping hand. The cleanliness of the hotel itself, our room and especially bathroom felt like pure luxury to me and the included breakfast was a feast too. If I find myself in Cuenca again there is no doubt I’ll be staying at Hotel Yanuncay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Which reminds me, it’s also really well situated. We managed to do all our exploring by foot. Perfect stay all around.

United StatesResturant is actually not for anything other than the standard breakfast that comes with the room. No lunch, no dinner, no room service. The area is safe and service excellent, everything works and is super clean, but it is not by a green space or park, nor museum. It is quite possible to get a equivalent place for the same price next to river, green space or museum. The neighbors were a bit loud sometimes but it didn't bother me.
The staff and cleanness was terrific. Breakfast was good. Bed was good for Ecuador generally but for a hotel it could be better. 5 star staff, kind and professional. PolandHave had a room facing outside, where I was hearing annoying beeping of the traffic lights. Heaving the earplugs when raveling so it helped to fall asleep.

United StatesThe WiFi was inconsistent. It takes a very long time to get hot water. The gym was not satisfactory and there was no option for using the empty jacuzzi or sauna. I think it’s a 2 star hotel with a 5 star staff.
