The staff is always so welcoming and friendly, we really love this place and come often when traveling to Cuenca.The view from the restaurant is fantastic, it makes breakfast extra enjoyable, not to mention the poached eggs served on toast with avocado!

The rooms are quite small, and the bathrooms are bit outdated, however still manageable if you are staying just a night or two.

Beautifully decorated common areas, cozy fireplace in the evening. Nice breakfast in the restaurant with the view.

Our overall experience at Hotel Victoria was outstanding. The hotel is beautiful and well-located within the historic centre of Cuenca. All of the staff were so accommodating, but particularly for us as non-Spanish speaking guests. When we first arrived we were offered a complementary drink as we registered. The first afternoon a plate of snacks welcomed us when we arrived back at our room later in the day. All of the staff were exceptional, but we particularly would like to acknowledge Estaban at the front desk and Robert in the dining room.

The room was a smaller than expected but we adjusted well. Weird comment but the lighting was not great. We adjusted by having our door open when we were at/in our room.

Very nice. We had a ground floor room that opened to the gardens. Beautiful! The staff are amazing. Friendly, professional and sincerely helpful with anything needed. Location is ideal. Cleanliness and comfort are 10++. Wifi was good.

the parking lot is to far from the main entrance, probably breakfast should have a better schedule to fine it after waking up , we miss it. for the rest it was all good for us inclusive the pet we bring

location was good - staff very good pet allotment was ok and they give you the option to go outside in the parking lot with the dog, bed was very confortable and and the windows also were ok. thanks

Hotel Victoria Is my absolute favorite place to stay in Cuenca. I love the stunning historic building, the clean and comfortable rooms, the tasteful decor, the beautiful garden, and the amazing staff. The location is perfect. It’s an easy walk to great museums, restaurants, parks and shops. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Cuenca so I can stay there again.

Ok, I need to write something here so that you know I am not bribed ;-) The bathroom is due for some minor renovation. But it was very clean, just a bit "older" than the rest.

It was probably one of the best hotel experience I had. The value for money is incredible. The hotel interior is simply charming. Very tasteful, very well thought. Amazing vibes, local, a bit luxurious, extremely pleasant to stay in. The staff was ultra polite, accommodating and helpful. And very well dressed and groomed. Respect! There is a micro café which serves excellent coffee and local cakes and sweets and chocolate - micro heaven! And on top of that this hotel features one of the best restaurants with great food and ambiance. If that is not enough, the hotel has little garden behind it and my room faced the river, which soothed me for an excellent sleep. Water was provided in carafes, some snacks too.

When I tried to use the sits of the restaurant I was not able to use it due to reservations but they offered me a desk near the entrance that was fair enough for that task.

The staff was very friendly you can sit in the waiting room they have a natural chimney and that's great for photos. The bathroom has natural light, which is good.

The only staff member that was a little bit off was the waiter at breakfast, he never smiled to us but he smiled and made conversation to other people not sure why.

The location was great and the staff was super friendly and very helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were a smaller than expected and ours were on the street side so there was some traffic noise at night.

The location was good, near the center of old town. The breakfast was very good. The staff were also very good and helpful. The restaurant dinner was very good.

This is a lovely and historic hotel near the center of Cuenca, within walking distance of the New Cathedral and the city center. The back of the hotel sits on the river and has gorgeous views of the mountains beyond. The only issue we ran into was our initial room had very hard beds, but once we noted this to the staff they provided several other rooms as options without any extra charge and moved all of our things for us. The new room had much more comfortable beds. The hotel is beautiful, the restaurant serves good meals with fantastic views of the city and mountains.
