We had toilet flash problem in our room, but we could be solved easily.

The lady was nice and friendly. They were able to check us in at 4 am and had room availability for us to stay much longer than we intended. Great value considering the location of the Hostal, super convenient, close to eateries, shops and bars. They also cleaned the room, changed the towels and gave extra tissue papers even without us requesting any. Decent WiFi, kitchen facilities for us to make coffee, and a comfortable smoking area- which many places don’t usually have. Last but not least, they have sweet pugs and cute cats on the property, perfect for travellers who are missing their fur babies.

The walls were a bit thin. One of those lodgings where you can hear the other guests too much.

The location is great, walking distance to everything good in Banos center. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel is well located.  The room was quite good. We rented bicycles and had a nice trip to the waterfalls. The hot springs are situated a 10 minutes walk. The staff was kind. Also, it was the first hotel during our trip to South America which had  a perfect hot shower with good pressure.

The cleanness in the rooms have had enough potential to be better.

We were welcome at arrival, the staff was absolut friendly, we got recommendations to see the waterfalls and around them. The bed was okay, the bed sheets clean, the towel good, free soap . The breakfast was okay for 2,5$. The parking safe in the yard.

There isn't really a fully equipped kitchen if you plan to prepare your own meals. I didn't like that dogs were in the kitchen area because it wasn't very hygienic for me. In general, it could be more clean. No wardrobe in the room to put your clothes in.

The owner is very helpful and very well informed person. She had an answer to each of our questions and booked for us a one day tour to Puyo. Pancakes for the breakfast were delicious! Hostel location is perfect. Hot water in the bathroom available all the time. Safe place.

Little run down compared to other places we stayed 8+ Pillows could be a little better, fairly thin Kitchen was probably the worst we had seen in the 9 months of travel so far, didnt use it for this reason Also, just something I personally dont like is having people in the room while out, but felt odd they came into the room while we were out just to drop in toilet roll which could have been left beside the door. Dont like giving bad reviews and is one of the few we have given while traveling but felt it wasnt great

Room was a bit run down and our bathroom door didn’t shut from the outside meaning we could hear our neighbours very clearly when they were in their bathroom! But wouldn’t put us off staying again as we did have a great stay!

The location was great - we could walk to everything we wanted to see in the town. Towels were refreshed daily. The shower was really nice and lovely hot water.

Room, though clean, is very basic. Breakfast if for more than a day or two would be pretty repetitive. The room didn't seem very secure, though we had no problems.

Location is very good, breakfast is adequate. Room was clean. Was quite good for the price. Good hot water in the shower. The owner got back to me after to correct a payment error, which was appreciated and unexpected.

The two staff members we met were rather unfriendly and abrupt so for us the hostel didn't have a very warm atmosphere! Also, we were there for just 2 nights but on the second day someone entered our room to leave new towels, which was intrusive and unnecessary- the policies should state the cleaning arrangements so we can opt out. The room was fine for what we paid but thin walls so quite noisy without wearing earplugs.

The hostel was clean, the room was comfortable enough, the kitchen was basic but had nearly everything we needed.

The kitchen is fairly small but has all you need, one of the other guests had their laptop stolen out of their private room though so be mindful where you keep your things.

The kitchen is pretty much non-existent, do not expect to cook a meal there. The rooms are quite humid. Breakfast is fairly small for the price.

Breakfast available at the hostel for US$2.5. Hot water and pressure. Good location. Employees are available and helpful. Possibility to store luggage before check-in/after check out.

Wifi wasn't great. Showers weren't great. We asked to book tours through the hostel and then went to the place they booked it through the next day and they took a fair bit for themselves.

Our room was quite damp and smelly. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the common room all night!! Kitchen is not really a kitchen - no oven and no fridge. Wi-Fi is okay but not good enough for streaming or anything like that.
