Water pressure in the shower not always good. room are not serviced every day. make sure to have your booking reservation to pay the correct price as hosts can get confused with all the different Booking pricings.

Very quiet, peaceful and away from noisy downtown bars, close to the Darwin center. Warmly welcoming hosts, super helpful to propose tours and flexible for breakfast time before you go on tour.

    Loved our whole stay

Loved the family atmosphere. Shirley and everyone were super helpful in planning our activities. There's two pools to chill out in. The location is close to the seafront and all the best restaurants. Highly recommend

The WiFi was intermittent at times, usually when there was a storm. A common problem everywhere and especially on the island and not easy to fix. I just had to come to the realization that my first priority was to relax and enjoy the islands and not to keep in contact continually.

The staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Location was great. Just out of the bustle of tourist town but within 2 blocks of 5 or 6 great restaurants. The room we had had a big deck with a sea view, great for relaxing. Air conditioning was more than up to the task and room had a mini bar fridge. Two pools were refreshing and kept very clean. Breakfast was very good albeit without much changes from day to day. We stayed 12 days, more than the usual for Galapagos, and were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

    Everything was great

We needed a relaxing and peaceful accommodation to take a few days to rest and reset half way through our Galapagos island hopping and the Pearl B&B was exactly what my family needed. The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay amazing. We had the apartment which consisted of two bedrooms, living room kitchen combo as well as a large bathroom. The kitchen was the most fully equipped kitchen we came across our whole stay in the Galapagos. The delicious breakfast included fruit from their trees and plenty of eggs and bread treats. The pools were perfect and the family enjoyed swimming all day long. One pool even had a sun cover which was a nice treat from the strong sun. The walk to the main strip was super fast, only a few blocks to all the restaurants. The manager arranged our inter island boat trip as well as the early taxi to the pier which was very helpful. Overall our stay saved our vacation because we were so exhausted from all our adventures we were able to continue after such a peaceful rest.

    1) Breakfast was below average. Bun and a fried egg. Jam was included but no bread to eat with. The fruit juice was tasteless and watery. 2) Excursions were too pricey. Just to get to San Cristobal Island was USD 250 per person (USD 1000 for family of four) which was just walking along the beach and have not so tasty lunch (rice, lentils, and one small piece of fried chicken). Obviously, they kept a big cut on this as the guide said he charges only USD 50 per person for the same route. Should have organized to go the hills rather than beach walk. 3) One day we went early on an excursion, and they made us pack lunches. One ham roll only, no fruit, no water or juice. The lunch was inadequate.

    Nothing to say.

Huge room. Very clean and bright and airy. The staff were great! Yalonda was so lovely! My Spanish isn't great and do she was really patient with me. It's less than a 5 min walk to the main street. But it's away from the noise of the traffic. I would stay again.

Prior to booking, I looked at many different hotels. There are so many hotels/hostels in this town, and I really hesitated on The Pear because it was $25 over my budget per night. I justified that because there were 2 beautiful pools it would save us in-town activity fees (we’d swim more and do less paid things in town). 1 of the pool was broken, and the other was pretty full of bugs. We asked for a pool net and cleaned it the best we could and still swam. Booking.com got all my info from me when I made the booking; how I was going to pay (credit card), and I checked out knowing the amount I was being charged. When I got there, they wanted an additional $15/night for ‘bank taxes’ because I used a credit card. I was so upset. I had already paid $25 more than I could afford, but now it was $40 more and I had said online I was paying with a credit card so they should’ve told me on booking.com that it would be that price. In the room, the ac unit is incredibly weak not reaching the 2-bedrooms (1 unit for the whole house), the kitchen is very minimal; 1 pot, a few random dishes, no paper towels, hand towels, soap, broom, etc. No TV in the whole 2-bedroom place. There are daddy-long-leg spiders spread out throughout the house. I sat on the bed and cried like a baby. I felt very douped with the pools, asking to pay more when I got there, the kitchen set up. I was paying so much for so little. Your money will go a lot farther at another location. It could be so charming.

Location was great. Very close to the Main Street, restaurants, etc. We weren’t able to stay for the included breakfast.
