Restaurant Almar was right outside my bedroom window but, to be honest, noise stopped around 11pm.

Quirky, quiet during the day. Loved the shady deck where you could sit and watch the wildlife.

Spoiled. Totally spoiled by Blu Galapagos. Everything was over the top perfection. The hotel is on the waterfront near the Charles Darwin Research Center and just enough on the edge of town that you feel isolated yet still within a five minute walk to the heart of this sweet port town. We stayed in the Darwin Suite which is primo for celebrating a loved one or yourself. I’ll be back for sure.

Breakfast was average. When there weren’t enough guests, breakfast was pre-cooked. This was cold and not very good.

Great location. Fabulous room. Great check in with friendly staff. Comfortable communal area and guest facilities. Free water and coffee. Loved the sea lions, iguanas, pelicans.

Having restaurant separately owned to hotel. As a resident, Would have like to have had access to the main restaurant decking in the mornings - the breakfast area was very small . Would have liked to be able to have had breakfast on the main decking in the restaurant . Also A bigger outside lounge area would be good - with a couple of sun loungers available !

Fantastic location & away from town centre so very quiet . Easy , quick walk into town . Loved having the turtles & iguanas & seals & pelicans everywhere we looked . Spacious room overlooking the bay . Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent restaurant . Coffee & drinks available 24 hrs per day .

The location was fantastic - when the tide comes in, you can sit at the restaurant/breakfast area and watch the variety of sea life swimming towards you. We saw sharks, turtles, stingrays, fish, sealions swimming around, and then watched blue footed boobies diving for fish, and pelicans too! it was magical!

The breakfast could have been better. It's separate from the restaurant itself and we learned that it's coming from an entirely different kitchen. It's open from 6:30-9:30, which is nice since a lot of tours start early. But, we're not sure how often the food was replenished, as it was often cold. The selection was also limited, every day serving a different version of eggs, meat, bread, fruit, coffee and juice. The juice was delicious though, often fresh pressed!

We choose to stay in one of the rooms with a sea view for four wonderful nights, and it was absolutely worth it as we were able to observe the sea lions, pelicans and crabs in the bay, at all times of the day. The shower had hot water and the bed was large and comfortable, both perfect after a long day of exploring. The staff were very helpful - laundry services taking only a few hours. There's a little store on site for convenience, and the restaurant downstairs was very good - we ate there twice! You could also rent bikes for free, which was a nice perk! We also really enjoyed the location. The hotel sits towards the end of the main strip in town, close to many restaurants, bars and shopping and an easy walk to the bus stop and the pier for water taxis and tours (about a 12 minute walk)!

The only issue was communicating with hotel About charging things to the room. They said yes and then after we left told us the restaurant was separate and it was a big hassle trying to get the restaurant their money . It was a big confusing mess but ended up Ok.

Perfect location! Honestly the best hotel on the island. So cozy. The restaurant is amazing and beautiful view. Every day right at my feet were sea lions, crabs, pelicans and fish. It was a dream .

I was victim of a scam via this reservation at Booking and could not contact the hotel to confirm and double check, as the telephones indicated in the reservation were wrong. Also the manager did not make any effort to talk to me, even though I asked to see her.

Hotel and staff are nice. Breakfast or lunch box option if you leave early in the morning on a day trip.

Stayed for 3 nights. View from the restaurant at breakfast and dinner is incredible - mantas, sea lions, pelicans all seen in front of us. Food itself was also very good. Really nice hotel, lovely design and layout. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blu Galapagos. Perfect location, exceptional staff, and overall great vibe! We stayed in one of the rooms with an ocean view (‘The Wolf’ room) and it was by far a standout for our holiday. Super spacious and luxurious! The hotel has absolutely everything you need - food, wifi, free coffee/water/snacks, comfortable rooms, and bikes. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic also. The breakfasts were very yummy and we had lunch and dinner there too throughout our stay. Huge shout outs to Angel who went above and beyond with his service throughout our stay. He had great recommendations and deeply cared about making sure we had a good time. He even remembered a lot about us to ensure he we had a lovely experience. Thank you Angel for making our visit extra special! Highly recommend this hotel when staying in the Galápagos Islands!

This hotel is great and within walking distance from everything you need. The hotel restaurant has amazing views. I think I will remember my breakfast with a view for the rest of my life. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Very pleased with our stay at Blu Galapagos! They've really done a wonderful job of designing an aesthetically pleasing, comfortable property that blends in well with the surrounding mangroves and waterfront. Lots of great nooks and crannies on the property, and great views of the water. The location is ideal for exploring the town and nearby beaches and snorkeling spots. Also enjoyed the restaurant, and staff were very friendly. Thank you!

One of the charming places, luxurious but with style, don't miss it. The staff is warm and helpful in everything, the location is excellent, the food is relatively tasty, and the patio is a real gem with animals right on the doorstep.

I was in the gift shop looking around and a lady who worked here looked at me and said “not free” lol which I thought was odd.

Unbelievable food at the restaraunt, gorgeous setting on the ocean- great comfy beds w AC. Top notch.
