The included breakfast was just average. Private parking seemed secure but it's outdoor.

Amazing ocean views with a balcony. Nice whale watching. Really comfortable bed.

The property maintenance was poor. the main lobby was uninvited. hallways smelled. entry walls need a painting. bathroom supplies were limited and not a good quality.

the drunk individuals falling down around the pool was very disturbing and prevented me from swimming. The water in the jacuzzi was brown from over use- the room was under ground and felt like a bunker.

The first room we got through booking.com was like a larger cupboard, no outside view. No water view. Looked into an industrial area on the property. So we immediately went and changed rooms, had to pay an extra $26 the hotel was pretty empty. So no upgrades unless you pay extra. They didn’t ask any questions so I’m guessing it happens a lot.

The pool is dirty, and the pool area is also unkempt. One soap for four people. One bottle of drinking water for four people. The price does not correspond to the level of service. In Europe it is 3 stars no more

This would be a 3 star hotel in the USA and $142 for this was highway robbery. The bathroom grout was gross everywhere. They actually allow people off the street to come to the pool! Therefore, at any given time there were 15-20 kids splashing and screaming all over which can be heard from any balcony since the hotel only consists of like 4 floors. Oh! It’s also a condo so the people that live there (most of the building) can also roam about as they please. You can’t see your feet in the pool because the water is so dirty. The pool closes at 7 PM. Nobody was rude as far as staff but they also don’t know what good, let alone great service is. I paid in cash ($160) and the receptionist asked if she could give me the change later. I said ok but was totally taken back when she didn’t even write it down or give me a receipt. I settled in the room and went to dinner. Afterwards I went back to the front desk because I was afraid of a shift change and no proof that I was owed money. The receptionist was on her phone and had clearly not made an effort to find the $17 and change that she owed me. She had to go out and ask a taxi driver for change and even pulled out her own wallet to complete the rest. I was blown away that a “5 star hotel” wouldn’t have $17 in a country where they look at you like you must be broke if you use anything other than cash. Everything everyone else has said about the water stinking, the parking, no beach (yes, your booking.com listing says “a couple of steps from the beach” so stop replying to negative reviews saying you never claimed to be a beachfront property) and bad breakfast is all true. Oh and good luck enjoying the balcony on your chairs covered in bird poop. Oh and at least on Google, some of the reviews are fake from people that work in the building. Make sure you take your balcony pictures during high tide because during low tide it’s hard to look at the black rocks that surface. There was also lighting issues in my room.

The single rooms are dark, humid, smelly and the windows covered. Certainly not a 5 star hotel. Also, I booked 4 rooms, including one double. When I did the check in, there were no more double rooms available
