The traffic noise was loud and present for most hours of the day.

The manager was capable and helpful. She set us up with a customized, half-day taxi ride to the highlands. There is a modern, inexpensive cafe across the street. Hot water in an immaculate bathroom. They willingly stored our luggage.

Our room faced the back- not as nice as some other rooms.

The location is great- we liked being in this part of town. Best coffee across the street, vegan food nearby, easy walk to the center of town, close to dive shop we used (Scuba Iguana). The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I bought a pineapple and needed to cut it up the day we left- they helped me do it quickly and gave me a bag to put the pieces in. It was nice to have a small kitchen with a table and a sofa. I would stay there again!

Everything was great for me. I would have loved if I had time to stay longer. There aren't rooms with sea view, but the terrace and rooftop views are nice.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at Ocean Dreams. The hotel is in a good, quiet location about 15 minutes walk to the port. I had a route that passed by pretty flowers and was very pleasant. The hotel is 4 floors and is quite nice and modern, as well as exceptionally clean. The included breakfast was excellent. Staff were kind and helpful, especially the owner was very nice. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. I had a great bed, nice tv, wardrobe and table, and the bathroom was very adequate. There were clean water stations on each floor of the hotel. There is a sea view from the terrace of the top floor which is very pretty. Overall highly recommend and I would stay again.

The breakfast is - like everywhere here - pretty sweet. Besides the scrambled eggs everything else is sweet (croissant, fruits, jam). We are more on the healthy side so this was not a perfect fit for us. But again: this is the standard here. At least we got a little bit of cheese after asking ;-)

The owner is incredibly nice and helpful, even with very basic English skills she makes everything work. She takes care of you and any requests you might have. The tour and taxi she organised was very good and cheap as well. The hotel is nicely located with like 5 minutes to the sea and 10 minutes to Darwin center (no need to go there). The air conditioning works, the water pressure is okay (it's excellent in some rooms), the whole hotel is clean - so I can recommend Oceans Dreams absolutely and without any doubts. I can't emphasize enough how likeable and nice and heartwarming the owner is. Being there didn't feel like business but more like family.

I have no issues.

I adored the mother and daughter who keep this hotel running. They were helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about things to do in the area. I can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone interested in a more extended stay in Santa Cruz. I applaud them for their patience as I tried to navigate Spanish.

Our seaview room had all of the air conditioning fans in the terrace attached to it making it impossible to sleep with the noise. But the staff immediately changed us to another room once we complained and it was much bigger and better.

Good location, only 5 min walk to main street , 10 min walk to the port, 10 min walk to Darwin station. The owner was supwr nice, helped with breakfast when I had early tour she prepared sandwich and juice and banana to take away . The room i had was economy single room, but was spacious enough, the bed was more than a single pwrson bed, it had fridge in the room, tv, The room was on 4th floor with access from the terrace, so the intwrnet signal was low, but this is a general issue on the island. The room was cleaned evwry day, the lady changed my towels and bedsheet at 2 days, There was water to refill your bottle for free Overall, it is a very good value for money, a clean place, in a small quiet street 5 min away from restaurants, shops, etc...

The owner was very kind and gave me a bigger room with a balcony for the same price as the standard room. Also, included breakfast was nice. When I was leaving early in the morning for San Cristobel island, she gave me breakfast even though they don’t usually serve it till 7am.
