Noisy animals and trucks and who knows. I wish more info was available on tours. We would pick one then show up without any info and often do something different than expected.

Joanna was a gem of a host. Each morning she greeted us with a smile for breakfast (which varied everyday and was amazing!) and willing to help with everything. Booking tours via them is totally recommended it’s cheaper than other tour operators in town and when we went rafting we ended up in the same group as people who booked through geotravel (25 vs 30$). The bikes we rented were also well mantained and Joanna explained the waterfall route very well. Hotel also offers laundry at cheap prices. The room was as described and the shared bathroom was very clean, shower was hot. The patio and garden were really nice and were really inviting to have a drink or play a game. The Hostal is located in a peaceful bit of Banos. It’s a 10min walk to the centre, the uphill bit is easy with a normal fitness level. All in all our stay was really good (and good value!) but the staff made it heartwarming! Extra tip. Go to El Salado hotspring which is amazing and pretty close by.

Wonderful place with amazing staff (thanks especially to Joanna and Frank). Great facilities and a full kitchen which was a lovely treat so we could cook a few nights. Lovely common areas and a different breakfast every day we stayed. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Wonderful peaceful property. The owners are really nice and make a good breakfast. Have lots of information on local activities and set me up with a great mountain guide for Tungurahua and Chimbo. The walk to the property is very easy, a little uphill.

Helpful staff, good breakfast every morning. Shared bathrooms are big and clean. Nice little space outside where you can chill and have a drink. The walk to/from town is very doable and was not a problem for us.

It was a very nice stay in the Molino Blanco, the staff was always super friendly and organised activities for you, the breakfast was huge and very tasty. It is a bit up the hill in Baños, so you need to go up again when you go into town. It was very clean and we would definitely visit again.

Loved our stay here, we arrived on the night bus so the 24 hour check in was great you ring a bell to wake them up. It was super quiet at night with no bars noisy nearby was super tranquil. We had a beautiful Mountain View and enjoyed our 5 nights here. breakfast was yummy too and ensured I had gluten free options. Owner is great, very helpful with booking tours and she has a great personality :)

The only little thing is that basic tours are 6$ when 3$ 2 minutes by foot...2 days in a row we booked a tour that never came to pick us! (Holliday and traffic reasons) So just take your lazy ass and walk downtown ;)

Everything!! Jhoana is soooo adorable! She's making such wonderful breakfasts. She cleaned my dorm while I was totally hungover and she took good care of me :) The garden outside is nice to chill, rooms a comfy and the staff are helpful. I arrived late on the 30th and it was pouring rain. There was no delivery services so the guy at the reception (sorry I forgot your name) took me in his car to go pick up some food!! Wow 👏🎉💕

To begin with, the host family totally saved us when we couldn’t get a bus to Alausi and spontaneously had to go to Baños. Not only did they organize a room for us, but they got up in the middle of the night to let us in. Everyone there is incredibly kind and helpful, the hostel feels like a home and the breakfast ist amazing! also a shout out to the choice of breakfast background music which we really enjoyed :). Absolutely would recommend this hostel to anyone going to baños!

There was no hot water in the shower on 2 occasions. This may have been due to not letting the water run long enough, but more likely that the gas tank was empty and required changing. The situation was remedied once brought to the staff's attention. The location was a little distant from the center of town, but more so, was up a significant hill, which could be a problem for some guests. However, the location meant it was very quiet, which can be a big plus.

Elba and Joanna made me feel very welcome, and were very helpful in providing information regarding things to see and do in Baños. The included breakfast was good, and varied from day to day. Kitchen facilities were available from late morning until late evening. Free coffee and tea were always available. There was a nice sitting area, with hammocks as well, in the garden area at the entrance. There was an area where guests were welcome to hand-wash clothes, with a drying area.

The owners are warm and really make you feel welcomed. They help with anything you ask of them (tours, taxis, laundry, etc). Quality breakfast. Quiet and peaceful. Room cleaned daily. Security entrance gate.

The owner was beyond helpful and everyone super friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place clean. We also booked some spa treatments and a full day jungle tour through the B&B for very affordable prices. My friend left her cap and I one of my AirPods in the room and the owner messaged us immediately when she found them AND made the mission to bring our stuff to the bus station where we were about to leave town.

The host and the staff are absolutely lovely and will assist you with everything. A verry warm and welcoming place to stay. The room was big and always clean as well as the bathrooms, which are equipped with a big shower and verry hot water. The location is not in the center of Baños, but it is easy, safe and fast to walk to and from the hostel. The tours, which are offerde by the hostel are at a good pricepoint and verry entertaining. I definitely recommend visiting and enjoying Baños in this wonderfull place.
