Excellent staff, very welcoming and helpful throughout my time. The walking tour they arranged was great and their guide (Huan) was happy to talk about both the historic and modern day quito. Great location, nice views, clean and spacious rooms.

It was unique and had a great location and friendly staff. The porter service was fantastic. We had to leave early so we couldn’t take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, but they packed us a delicious sandwich with fruit, snack and bottled water. The view from the rooftop was amazing.

It’s a bit noisy sometimes

First of all the staff.The Lady in the reception is one of the best i met ever,really smily and helpful in addition the guys in the restaurant.Great breakfast including variety dishes different every day .The location is ideal for tourists.

The location was excellent, the staff were so friendly especially Yale. I used this as a base to visit other areas and was able to leave my suitcase with no issues. The wifi was very good too and lovely hot shower. I enjoyed breakfast cooked by lisando and mariano.

Nothing, everything was great! Even with electricity restrictions, the team made sure everything was perfect for guests, which was appreciated.

The staff was really friendly, helpful, and appreciated the guests. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a nice sign with our name on it! :) Location is central to old town, easy access to many restaurants and shops. Rooms are comfortable, and breakfast in the terrace was great! Can't beat starting your day with some of the freshest and best tasting fruit you'll ever eat in your life! As others have mentioned, be prepared to walk up a few stairs - it's an old colonial building, but the twists and turns of the staircase hide beautiful art, tastefully placed to give you a glimpse of the past and present of Ecuador...male the most of your journey.

You will get a cheaper price (50% less) for the day tour at the City Tours Information Centre where is located only about 10 minutes from the hotel, just across the road from the San Francisco Church.

Great location. It is only about 10 mintues walk to the centre of the old town. The staffs are very helpful and provide me all the tour information and helped me to book a day tour.

Excellent central location, easy / safe walk to the plaza, tons of museums and churches. Breakfast was superb - fresh fruit, juices, freshly cooked eggs, etc. Staff was super helpful, providing us walking map & guidance, as well as advice for where to eat and any booking help we needed.

This colorful property is full of character. Just being there made us smile! You feel as if you’ve known the friendly staff for a long time and they go above and beyond with service. Friends Hotel offers offers a full breakfast that is beautifully presented in the flower filled rooftop terrace.

We felt very safe and welcomed at Friends Hotel. They arranged private transfers for us from/to the airport and a day walking tour of the historic centre of Quito. Everyone from our driver and tour guide to the receptionist were extremely friendly and helpful. The gave us a lot of recommendations about the area, what to do and where to go. The location was excellent, only 5 minutes away from the main square. A great introduction to Quito and we would love to stay here again!

Pick up from the airport worked very well. The hotel has nice rooms, and comfy beds. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant is really great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wifi works great.
