there was a chicken screaming in the morning so we woke up quite early all the time

it has a kitchen with all the utensils needed and free drinking water which is really nice. we had a window and a nice bathroom with a really good shower. the bed was comfortable too.

No A/C. You simply cannot survive without A/C in a room that only has a window to the corridor. Other places have A/C for roughly the same price per room.

A shared kitchen with a fridge is available. An adjacent small balcony is nice for a drink in the evening.

bed was moderately comfortable but it was so creaky and noisy that you could hardly move without waking yourself up.

good hot water, quiet area but close to central market. There is a kitchen, but without a few more implements it would be challenging to cook a real meal. But for one night, it was fine, and the price was good.

A bit further from seaside. Simple facilities in the bathroom, the water is pouring out and make flood on the floor, no cloth or equipment for cleaning and information thay using towels will cost you extra. Smell of the chlor in the property.

We liked the location because it was further away from the touristy bit, but only a 10 min walk. Near a small mercado. Big kitchen and rooms where cleaned often.

Windows were into inside corridor. Doors to the building were problematic, took few mins until opened with the key. Wifi didn't work at all, but there is a problem in the island as in half of the restaurants wifi didn't work as well while in other half worked well. Extra fee included.

Bad security, front door was always open to the street even though I carefully locked when I passed, my room had only a window to the corridor and was unlocked for 3 days without me knowing. No staff in the building. Smelled of smoke in the whole building when someone was using the designated smoking area, which was also the only possible place to chill. No social areas, the kitchen was awful. I had a short interaction with some sort of staff about my details on my last day which was unprofessional and unfriendly. Location is a bit off. They had told me I could check in at a certain time but when I arrived there was no key to the room, and since there are no staff I had to use the chat and wait. Communication is difficult so new guests are always confused.

They sold more rooms than they have available, book 5 rooms for 3 families, so when we arrived, we were told they did not have one of the rooms available. I said i did not want to send any of the kids to another hotel a lot further away. They said then cancelled and looked somewhere else.. they could have advised the over booking a day before, at least, and i could have looked for somewhere else. it is an island, and i didn't know the area on earth. I am gonna arrange 5 rooms somewhere else after a crazy 2 hours, tired ride by ferry! They give us one towel per room, rooms are dark and all indoors, not outdoors, windows, horrible place, not even secure, the keys for all the room were left in the hole way! The floors were extremely dirty, not worth the hassle or the money. Definitely better places even cheaper, not good valio for money.

Arrived and waited for 15 minutes for someone to let us in. Told we had to move to the other hostel 10 minutes away. Other hostel was next to a school, we were woken up at 7am to their assembly and sirens. The owner was rude and there's no WiFi in the rooms.

It was clean and the lady on reception is super lovely. Carliza I has a fantastic kitchen and eating area, it's also in a good location.

I was moved from Carliza II to Carliza I and was only informed of this through a message on booking.com which I did not receive due to the limited signal/wifi on the island. When I arrived at Carliza II it was closed and I then found out by reservation had been moved to the opposite side of town. I contacted reception to ask for a taxi as I had heavy bags and they refused to book me one or help me get one and insisted it was close - this didn’t matter because I was tired and hot, and it was a 10 minute walk! When I eventually arrived the staff at reception were unfriendly and unhelpful. It took 10 minutes for me to receive my change while other people were served before me and I was left waiting at the side. Overall it took me over an hour to check in due to being moved and then waiting for so long. The room I had was then different to what I had booked and I was not allowed to use the A/C since my original booking only included a fan. I had high hopes for this place but wasn’t impressed at all.

Quality for that price is perfect. We had opportunity to cook (in Galapagos its really really expensive to go out), so we saved a lot of m ey. Its close to the market and a lot of shops as well. The port is a 10-minute walk, bus to Santa Rosa 2 minute. I was wooried as it seemed to be suspiciously cheap but I have to tell it was worth l.

No one there at our arrival, hopefully we guessed the code of the entrance door, and found the key of our room. Very small window, so room really hot. Too few equipments in the kitchen.

We had to call the property twice to ask to open the door, but it took 1 hour and 15 minutes, so we ended up waiting outside without knowing when they would have arrived.
