I arrived early hours of the morning and was picked up at airport by Esperanza. Felt very safe and secure which is taken seriously by the management and very much welcomed like family. Breakfast was excellent, and would not hesitate to recommend staying at Hotel Casa Del Rio Guayas

We had to wait a while in the heat and humidity of Guayaquil at the airport for the pick up to the hotel. It would have been nice if the air conditioning had been turned on in our room before we arrived. The common areas in the hotel were not air-conditioned so until the AC in our room kicked in we were quite uncomfortable. The room rate was very reasonable, but to our surprise, cash only, no credit card.

Large room with balcony. Close to airport and manager picked us up and dropped us off at the airport the next day for a very reasonable price. We were hot and tired after our flight from Canada, with a brief stopover in Panama City. We thought about going out for supper, but decided against it as being to much effort in the circumstances and we weren't that hungry any way. To our surprise after we got settled in our room, the manager came by with tasty cheese buns and coffee, which hit the spot perfectly. Breakfast was very good. In the morning it only took a few minutes to get to the airport.

great friendly owner, very helpful with picking up from airport and delivering me to the right bus the next day. Also lovely breakfast, no problem fitting around my diet. clean room, nice location. Highly recommended.

didn't have enough time to find out if there was anything we didn't like. we arrived at midnight and left at 6am the next morning.

location close to quayaquil airport, we could've walked but were advised not to. good for a night before the next morning flight to santa cruz. we paid $5 for a taxi ride from the airport, i guess it was grossly overpriced. the host lady was very nice and friendly, she speaks spanish only, with google translate we were able to exchange a few sentences the host lady drove us to the airport the next morning at 6am. very nice of her doing it for us.

A power socket next to the bed would have been nice, as well as a light on the bedstand instead of the very bright light on the ceiling.

The staff is very kind and helpful. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Shower water is hot, and airconditioning works well enough. Walking distance from shopping mall (15minutes) and airport, but would not recommend walking after sundown .

Booked the Hotel due to proximity to the airport and not to discover the city. For that it was a great place to stay. The owner was very helpful, drove me to a nearby restaurant for dinner and organized an early taxi the next day to catch my flight. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Be aware that everyone I asked recommended me not to walk from and to the airport, even though it is very close. Take a taxi instead. Also, it is not a large commercial hotel with 24/7 reception. Better contact them before to communicate your arrival time.

For Guayaquil the price was a bit steep even though it included transit and breakfast. We had to change our plans and originally had a two-night stay with breakfast and transit for only $45; this place was $60 and she changed extra for water and for our transit back to the airport.

We were staying one night before catching a flight and it was very close to the airport. Esperanza picked us up even though our flight was delayed by almost an hour. She was a little overwhelmed because strikes were causing employees to be late yet did her best to accommodate us.

No signage outside so a little scary walking up to a door. We took a cab to the hotel which was inexpensive.

The room is big , clean , and comfortable. The bathroom is a full size bathroom. The breakfast is quite good, it offers ham, egg, bread, fruit, juice, and coffee

I had an absolutely amazing stay here!!! The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I felt perfectly safe as a female solo traveler. I had to get a COVID test for my flight and the owner drove me to the hospital herself. We even went to a lovely dinner afterward when I said I was hungry. She went above and beyond to help me. She is such a kind, warm person!!! I wish I would have stayed more time. The homemade breakfast is delicious as well. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

The hotel doesn’t have any identifying markings which made it difficult to identify the correct location . The hotel is accessed through a locked gate with a doorbell. If the staff isn’t attentive you think it’s a private home and want to drive away.

- Perfectly located, clean, quiet hotel, close to the airport and main bus terminal. - Esperanza was the perfect host. Very helpful, attentive, kind and accommodating. - Huge bed and very comfortable mattress. I had a great night's sleep. - A/C and hot water working well. - Strong and reliable wifi 25Mbps down and up - Good selection of restaurants just a few blocks away and also close to Mall del Sol.

Great place. We had a very big hotel room, was super clean. Staff is super friendly. It is possible to get a transfer from/to airport if necessary. Airport was near in a walking distance.
