Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesI think it is one of best place for vacation in the world! I like local culture and mentality. Relax and enjoy )) trankila, mañana, I like chilling. Beach is absolutely beautiful, clean and water like a cristal! I took few excursions, but I think just to be in Punta Cana - it is already excursion. A lot of different and beautiful beaches around: Macao, Cabeza de Torro, White Sands etc. One of my best vacation! Reception always kind and helpful. Gracias :))

United KingdomThis is a villa in a residential area, walking distance to the beach. Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. There's air conditioning, fan, flat screen TV, wardrobe, desk and small balcony. Inside the room there's a huge wardrobe with mirrors. Bathroom is equipped with sink, shower and toilet, mirror, few hangers on the door and wall. Hairdryer is available at the reception. There was soap in there, too. Small kitchenette is equipped with microwave oven, bowls, plates, cups and glass. There's fridge and few shelves. Surfaces are covered with glass. Bed is OK. Next to the bed there's power socket and small night tables with drawers. The room is greyish, very nice and decorated with painting on the wall. In the hallway there's a bottle of filtered water available. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Overall a good stay.

SpainRoom was huge. Very quiet, I’m a light sleeper so it was really appreciated. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, I was surprised how well I slept (I have back problems so have special mattress + pillow at home) That was for me the most important thing! shoutout to the bed quality! The hotel has direct access to the shopping centre making it extremely convenient since I didn’t have a car.

CanadaWe were expecting a more organized and personalized experience, what we got was instead dissapointing and a lack of offers in residence activities/amenities. First, they got the beds wrong, we booked two bedrooms with one double bed in each. What was even more frustrating is that Junior at reception did not know about difference in bed sizes when asked about the issue, something he should know and tried to say something about the sofa bed in the living room (!?). His attitude stunk. We were able to change our room on the third day. It also seems that guests steal appliances from the residences or these are not replaced before a new guest arrives, because the living room TV (first apartment) did not have sound and the optic cable was not plugged to a sound bar/speaker that should've been there. They never able to figure it out at first and gave me a bogus explanation about the sound coming back tomorrow (!?) and left. Once we were moved to a new apartment (with the right beds), I found that the controller was missing for the TV in the living room (not a smart TV). I switched the TV with the one (a smart TV, to stream) in one of the bedrooms as I felt I could solve the issue better myself by this point. Third, the brochure they gave us about the restaurants and amenities around the area was not updated and most places had already closed (The mexican and steak ones). Fourth, the construction within the compound was not pleasant and safety was not taken too much into consideration for guests (even for workers) that were walking around the area. It would have been nice to get an apology about the many issues mentioned but it was never given. Someone should remind management that they're in the hospitality industry and are dealing with paying customers.
Being a minute walk from the beach was great, although the algae was a bit off-putting in the area. It was also nice to have the closed off pool for the residence in our area, although the second apartment did not have it. The spacious bathrooms and living room area/terrace were also nice.

United StatesThe representative that assisted us was the absolute worst!! He was rude, disrespectful and callous! He showed zero empathy and REFUSED to allow us into a room which we had already paid for and deserved!! We had to stay in a cheap motel because this individual did not respect our reservation. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE!!! I’ve traveled around the world and without a doubt I will say this has been the worst experience of my life!!
