Second stay in Perola, with a nice upgraded room with sea view, very good breakfast, good location 15min walk from Plateau and 10 min walk from the nice beaches. Also a enjoyable swimming pool on the roof top and very nice personnel.

not something i didnt like...but, being european....a kettle or coffee machine in my room would have been nice.

the Perola is a really classy hotel a short drive from Plateau, and the lighthouse. Large rooms, really, really comfortable beds and pillows, minibar that is refilled everyday, and not expensive, but still has room for your own things, should you need it and really powerful shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was really great...tasty range of treats amongst the usual things, nice bread, pastries and little tarts, and you can have it outside overlooking the bay. You can also have dinner there..and the menu is varied and not too expensive, with a good wine list. But...obviously....one of the best things about the Perola is the pool on the roof. after a hot day there is just nothing better than plunging into the cool water, and while small, you can actually swim properly, even if it is only 5 strokes. I really enjoyed my stay in the Perola.

The pool water didn't look very clean. It had an obvious oil sheen on top and looked murky. The fridge was mostly filled with mini bar items, so there wasn't much room for your own things unless you took everything out.

The bed was comfortable. The location was good and walkable to Plateau. The rooftop had lots of sunshine. Breakfast had a lot of variety.

Wifi and AC were intermittent during our 3 nights but mostly worked well. It would be helpful if the hotel sold sunscreen.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They were all excellent. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows are comfortable. We had a seaview room with tv, fridge, safe, AC and wifi. The views from the 3rd floor restaurant and 7 the floor pool on the roof were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was good, as was dinner at the hotel. There is an ATM at the entrance and mini mart next door. It is a 10-15 min safe walk to the beaches and other restaurants. Sunscreen only available at the pharmacy which is a 15 min walk up the hill behind the hotel. It was 20-30 min to walk to the plateau or short taxi. The pool is not heated but is refreshing on a hot day. Sun chairs on the roof good.

on one night the music was blaring so loud near my room until 330 am. There also seemed to be mosquitoes constantly in the room . I am not sure how they kept coming in.

The room was spacious. Nice balcony . The staff were very friendly and restaurant staff as well. pool was just opened so we were lucky to get a quick soak in.

We asked for 2am taxi and the man at the front desk called us at 1.30a to leave because he claimed there was traffic. We ignored him and left at 2am as planned. He was not happy with us but yet there was no traffic at all and the trip to the airport was quick. I think his taxi driver friend just wanted to do something else and get our ride over with earlier.

Comfy hotel. Very nice rooms. Asked for quiet room and received 509 which was very far away from the street which is always loud at night in Praia.

Everything is Fine.

The Rooftop with the Pool is wonderful. The Staff is very nice and helpful. The beds are in a very Good quality (Memory foam beds) and breakfast very Good with a various of Fine fresh Food and Most important, very Good coffee and Cappuccino. Thanks for your wonderful Cook to Cook for ist vegetarian options.

In general the facilities could improve, the ceiling of the bathroom had water leaks and also our corridor. The swimming pool area is small not having many hammocks for sunbathing and the bar was not available. In general the hotel is nice but a little bit expensive for the current status of the facilities

I have got a room with no view and the room was under the restaurant. So it was very loud in the morning and the afternoon. The airport transfer is very expensive, you pay 15 euros for only 8 minutes.

There is a nice breakfast, you have many choices, good coffee and different fruites. The rooftop pool is very nice. The staff is also very friendly. The restaurant is very classy and the food tasts perfect. The hotel is 20 minutes by foot from the city centre plateau. To the beach with a nice restaurant you need to walk 10 minutes.

The rooftop seems nice, but at second glance the furniture is quite used, the cushions are discoloured / torn, the wooden construction could use repairing. The one man (probably the manager as he was dressed differently) in the restaurant was unfriendly to guests and staff alike. The staff themselves were super nice and helped wherever they could! Coffee could be better.

Super friendly and helpful staff! Nice and comfy rooms, clean and pretty modern. Overall, the hotel looked to be in very good condition. Breakfast had a good variety and everything looked fresh.

Mold from AC, TV constantly losing contact with network and rebooting ( was impossible to watch movies) Empty restaurant and I ask to have main cause as appetizer - straight NO without asking galley, no labels at BF food…. You had to taste if sweet or savory (allergies/ food waste)

Just the breakfast food was not interesting. Everyday was the same and one day everything was served cold. They don't have a service to make you a fresh eggs.
