Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff who are happy to help and strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They can even support in booking some activities like a snorkeling trip. The hotel serves a very nice breakfast buffet with a mix of local and international food. Its location is unbeatable.

The breakfast was atrocious. Dinner in the restaurant was substandard.

The location of the hotel, the pool area and scenery was magnificent. It was easily accessible to everything, room was very well decorated in all white, but required upkeep. The room facilities was basic, the shower area a little old. It really is a lovely hotel, which looks beautiful and the eating area is lovely. Just needs a few tweaks and would be perfect.

Location is great. The views from the bedroom were amazing, an oasis to rest and relax. Staff from reception, restaurant and breakfast bar were really nice, helping me with everything I needed.

Breakfast was quite basic and unexciting. The only other thing to note is that the bathroom is round a corner, so shielded from view, but has no door, so if sharing with a friend or colleague it could be a bit strange.

The location is excellent, central but quiet, and within a few minutes walk to the ferry port. A taxi from the airport cost the equivalent of 12 euros. There is a beautiful bar area with views overlooking the bay and Belem tower. The rooms are very clean, peaceful and had everything that I needed.

One of our nights we spent at Mansa Marina, the hotel arranged a party to celebrate the winning samba-school of this years carnival. With a crowd of 200, and an enthusiastic band some 20 meters from our room, the sleep was just so-and-so.

Situated in the middle of the harbor, close to everything in the city, yet fairy peaceful and secluded from the surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff, and large and - for the most - quiet and clean rooms. OK facilities for breakfast/pool-area, and an excellent restaurant for dinner. Occasional live music of very high standard in the restaurant.

You have to be aware that the bathroom is totally open ;) And there weren't many options to hang up things/clothes.

some areas of the hotel need refurbishment, there is only one towel holder in the bathroom and the toilet isn’t separated from the shower, the window towards Torre de Belem are not clean

The amenities were a bit old - the bathroom wall was getting cracks in the wall because of the frequent contact with water. The pool would have been great if it was more taken care of - the sunbeds were partially bare, partially covered with old matts and there was no shade availble. The rooms have a beautiful deisgn, however it might take time to get accustomed to it - the WC does not have a door - would have appreciated a heads up about this.

The breakfast was very good, the location is very central. The bar/restaurant has an amazing view over the marina and a beautiful sunset over Monte Cara is visible from there. The staff took note of our order of capirinha with less sugar - they were perfect. As our room was overlooking the street and there were always people close to our window, we received an upgrade and got a room with a balcony over the water. This room was superb, really.

Breakfast can be improved. Lack of shades in the pool area and sun loungers without cushions. The open concept in the bedroom doesn’t work very well. The bathroom entrance is just in front of the bed, no privacy at all. Plus there is a window on the bathroom and the sunlight come through it at 6:30am. A sliding door in the bathroom can solve both problems. A bit overpriced, compared to other hotels in Mindelo.

The room we stayed was beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. Coffee machine. Good restaurant in the hotel. Staff was very helpful. I didn’t feel well the last day and they allowed us to stay a bit more in the room.
