This hotel in Ponta do Sol is just incredible. Guillaume and the whole team are very friendly. The view from the (public) balcony is great. I really recommend this hotel to everyone who is going to Santo Antao…:-) Obrigado!

Great location in Ponta Do Sol, 1 minute walk to marina, <5 to a couple waterfront restaurants. Good correspondence with any questions, fantastic staff, lovely breakfast. Rooms are actually good sized apartments.

We felt right away very welcome in Kasa Tambla. Guillaume and Pauleth run a smooth operation and assisted where they could. He had the top floor room, a room with a private terrace and a most incredible view over the harbour and ocean. An oasis of beauty. And an incredible staff. We will be back!

The room we had was a triple for just 2 of us so it had two bedrooms and lots of space. There is a great balcony with seats for looking at the sea view. It is close to restaurants but the town is small and easy to get around. The breakfast was very good.

Honestly, everything was great.

We stayed in the seaside view studio and the view was really fantastic, plus we could see the sunset straight from our sofa ! The studio overall was very comfortable, with all necessary amenities, very clean. Really kind staff, Guillaume (the owner) was also there and shared with us a lot of great hike suggestions! Breakfast was simple, but more than enough for us, very very tasty and home made.

The room was kind of small. The morning staff did not speak English and I needed to checkout early to catch the ferry.

They were super friendly and helpful with check-in. They made a special breakfast to accommodate my gluten allergy. They arranged a reservation for my dinner at a private restaurant in someone's home, with live music. It was a special experience. The location is great for walking to the ocean.

Guillaume and his team welcomed us with a fresh juice and the service was fab from that moment up to our departure. Extremely reactive and helpful. The rooms are very nicely decorated, lovely home made breakfast. We highly recommend that hotel, on top of that they do have a very ecological approach which we appreciated! The wifi is very weak on the rooftop. Good in the garden though.

Our 40 sqm sea view suite at the rooftop is just as awesome as in the photos! Clean and modern decorated with a small terrasse. It provides us the privilege of enjoying the fantastic view and charming symphony of the sea. We really like this hotel which is mananged by a nice French owner - Guillaume and a team of super friendly staff with a lot of respect to the local community. For example, he provides bottle re-fill service to reduce use of plastic and shares advice in terms of different local subjects like taxi/collectivo rates and charity. The hotel also makes their own detailed hiking trail booklet. You will not be bored if you like hiking! Welcome drink and breakfast are super fresh also.

Kasa Tambla is located near the waterfront in central Ponta do Sol. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance and the fish market is less than a block away. The hotel is well-maintained with great views of the beautiful coastline from the top floor lounge area. The rooms are basic, but stylish and clean. My guess is that Kasa Tambla is the best option in this price range in Ponta do Sol. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

We really enjoyed our stay, but as quite a few places in Cape Verde, felt it was a little overpriced.

Excellent location, we watched the sunset from the terrace area & could relax watching the crashing ocean waves. Staff did there best to give advice on hikes & explain different transport cost options to us.

Lovely place with good breakfast, nice room, fast wifi and friendly staff. Guillaume is very nice and easygoing guy who can provide all necessary information about hiking routs and arrange all what you need. I already miss Ponta do Sol and Kasa Tambla :)
