NetherlandsWe stay in the apartments, and the room infill was far from sufficient: nescafe coffee machine, but no capsules knives, but no cutting board frying pan (damaged), but no utencils to cook and so on kitchen consists of few empty cabinets) I understand its mostly dictated by country geographical isolation and problems with supply and restock, but fact is fact.
First and foremost - staff is great. Cabo Verdian people are very open, friendly and always ready to help. Special kudos: cleaning lady and evening chef at restaurant. Location is nice - not the first line, but walking distance to anything you need (you need beach and restaurants, there's nothing else to do here :) ) Breakfasts are simple but ok.

PortugalThere was only one room card available, they couldn't give us an extra one. The room power is activated with the card, so when we were leaving the room and taking the card, the fridge was being switched off witch doesn't help if you have stuff there... Is also missing a rubbish bin in the room :)
The room was very spacious with a nice terrace, breakfast was OK. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help, although one of the employees at the reception seemed to be always in a bad mood I believe his name was Idalecio. Short walking distance from the main street. Would definitely stay there again.

IcelandThe beds are a bit on the hard side, the ac was locked to a specific temperature which was fine when entering the room after being outside, but after being in the room for a while it got kinda hot but wasn’t that big of a deal.
The breakfast was nice, had plenty of options. The room was spacious and clean, with a small fridge which was an awesome addition. The pool was clean and the bar/lounge area was a nice and relaxing area. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially when asked what sort of things you could get up to on the island. Lastly the Wi-Fi in the room was fine by cape verdean standers.

United StatesOn my first night there, one staff member was really nice and helpful but throughout the rest of my stay, not so much. Not bad, just sort of lukewarm. Also, the air conditioning in my room could not be adjusted, and stayed at a very cool temperature all night. So I froze all night. I could only turn it off by removing the key card from the slot that controls the electricity in the room.
The hotel is located a short walk from the beach. It's located on the outskirts of the main hotels, restaurants and beach area but close enough to walk to. The room is modern and clean.

United KingdomWe booked a transfer from the airport and were told this was confirmed but nobody was at the airport to pick us up. When we checked in we mentioned this to the person at reception and he had no clue. He then showed us to our room and took us to a room that someone was already in.

GermanyThe apartment that we booked was not available, so we were downgraded to a suite. This was not informed to us until we specifically pointed it out. And even then, on the beginning, the reception staff didn't know why this was. Only upon digging further, and a lot of time wasted, did we even come to know that they decided to downgrade us without informing us because of the room not being fully operational.
