Patricia and her staff were amazing. They helped me book a guide to Santo Antao, made a dinner reservation, booked taxis when I needed them. The space is beautiful and well-maintained and the staff really take it up a notch.

Not much really. If we have to pinpoint something, we would say that the street (while central) is a little deserted at night, but well: nothing happened.

My partner and I stayed at Casa Da Djedja for 3 nights when landing in Sao Vicente and liked it so much that we booked it for another 2 nights when coming back to Mindelo to take our flight as we returned from Santa Antao. The place is an island of paradise in Mindelo, with its elegant architecture, white walls and beautiful little garden in the common area. The staff is absolutely lovely and helped us find our bearings on the island.

The mattress could have been a bit more comfortable.

The staff were super welcoming and helpful while we had some issues to sort with the local airline. Breakfast was very nice and the overall feel of this hotel was amazing. Very quiet location close to the port.

Nothing not to like

Every single thing! No need for you to look any further - just book this place! A BIG highlight to their AMAZING staff! I travel quite a bit and I can tell you, it is rare to find such an amazing team of competent, empathetic and kind group of people. Our flight was cancelled (which almost ruined our entire trip) and they went above and beyond to help us. Of course, the hotel in itself is great, constant hot water, very comfy and big bed and a hearty breakfast to kick off your day.

Adorable staff, very nice and helpful and lovely place. On top of that, the breakfast is varied and very tasty. Brigitte and Marco are so kind and welcoming. If you see that Casa de Djedja is available, book it without any second thoughts.

The staff was very welcoming, did most everything to make us feel @ home. Very good recommendations on where to eat and tips for our onward trip to Santo Antao. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was served early (from 7.00 onwards) in buffet style and packed everything you needed. Overall very much enjoyed our stay.

Hotel sent a driver to meet me at airport when asked. Very friedly staff. Excellent breakfast. Minor wear and tear in my room, loose towel holder but, overall excellent.

Casa da Djedja - that’s not only a quiet and well designed Guesthouse or Boutique Hotel in the vibrant center of Mindelo where you can reach each hot spot in a walking distance. Casa da Djedja is much more, it’s an enchanted place with a very professional, warm-hearted team that creates a home far from home for you. I am sure, you gonna miss that place directly after leaving.

The common areas are all beatiful and well styled, but the rooms itself are quite basic as well as the bathroom. You do have everything you need but it could use the same attention as the other spaces. I would definitely still recommend the place, but that is what was stopping me to give a 10 star rating.

Very friendly and professional staff, which you notice from arrival till departure. My bag was delayed and they were checking in with me on that regularly, see if they could help, and point me to nearby shops, restaurants, atms. The place is beautiful as well and very peaceful, just a bit away from the busy Mindelo with an inside courtyard where you can relax, read a book. Walking distance from everything you need in Mindelo.

The hotel is very quiet, clean and comfortable. The rooms are quite very comfortable and so is the bed. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but good. The hotel is located very close to the city center. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Best B&B in Mindelo. Patricia, Jessica and team were delightful. The rooms are immaculately done up and very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and breakfast delicious. Highly recommend, the service is superb.

An oasis of calm in the relative bustle of Mindelo. The rooms here are lovely and the garden is a great place to relax and read a book for a while. The staff were all incredibly helpful and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Mindelo!
