Drinking water. The watter was not drinkable in the room. You had to go fill up the one bottle provided which was too small. I would provide each person with their own bottle and maybe have house keeping fill them

The exterior of the room was not very good looking, a bit old. And the traffic noise from the main street was disturbing. The parking lot was very exposed with no gate or security. I was worried about my car every night.

the rooms are a tad outdated

it took us a few hours to get used to this property as it was our first ‘jungle’ experience. the spacious room was furnished with dark wood and it looked a bit spooky to us. however we quickly got used to our bungalow and really loved our stay here. the small kitchen are was appreciated as we could make our our breakfast, tea and coffee. the small grocery shop is just opposite the hotel, it’s very handy. the situation is exceptional- right on the longest stretch of silky smooth beach imaginable, with surfers to admire. I loved the daily yoga sessions right on the ocean, the teachers were excellent and kind. all in all we highly recommend this hotel to other travellers

The restaurant made a few mistakes with our food and was a bit pricey, but those are minor things.

Highly recommended. We searched for places to visit in CR and Santa Teresa came up highly rated. Then we searched places to stay and Hotel Tropico Latino came up first. That was absolutely true! Amazing place, gorgeous beach, wonderful staff, very comfortable room, and great town. We even contact them in advance about transfers and they gave us amazing advice. Will go back.

literally the only downfall was all the mosquitoes in the room. they were able to get in through the windows. and I got so many bites!! not really avoidable in Costa Rica but there were way too many in the room.

garden bungalow villa was very dated and run down and in no relation to the price paid for the night. room should also have some mosquito repellent/plugs as desperately needed.

-Beach in front of hotel is full of rocks, further north (1.5km) you find a massive sandy beach -Our room was not beach front, therefore close to the road. It was very noisy because of the traffic, not a good place to stay if you are looking for room with natural sounds. We told the stuff and for a fee we could upgrade to a beach front room for 2/3 nights we were there. -With exception of the Spa, the hotel looks like if it needs restoration

-The staff is very very helpful: actively engage, friendly, propose solutions, makes the stay cozy/gezellig -Location is close to center of town -Restaurant in the beach with good view, menu and service -Spa and yoga classes -My wife got sick and the staffs help getting a excellent doctor on sit from a clinic 800m away

Location to beautiful beach and restaurants. Front desk Laura was every helpful and friendly. Everyone at the beach bar staff provided great service. Really enjoyed the hotel and would recommend.

All of Santa Theresa was very busy. We wish the surf was not so strong. Hard to swim there.

The property was very zen with the written affirmations on chalkboards as you walk around. The bar/restaurant was nice. It did take some time to get a drink when it was busy. We stayed in the glamping tent and it was lovely right at the beach. One night was a little loud when there was a music concert at a hotel next door. The reception person was very helpful!
