Parking is outside. But we didn't have any issues as the neighborhood felt safe.

Very nice small hotel with good vibes. Nice little clean pool to relax after a day of activities. The communal kitchen is well equipped and super handy. More than the facility and location, the kind people run this place make all the difference. Zack, Manrique and the cleaning lady (sorry didn't get her name) were all so kind and hospitable. If you are looking for a true Pura Vida experience in Jaco, this is the place to be. It's the people who make the difference!!

We really enjoyed our time in here. Our room was very clean, it had a very comfortable bed and good shower. We had a AC in our room which was SUPER! Love that! The hotel has a communal kitchen with everything, which is super nice that you can cook if you wish. Also the pool is amazing to swim and relax! The staff is amazing! They helped us with everything and arranged the best surf lesson ever! Highly recommend to do that when in here. Also the cleaning lady is the sweetest and she always made sure that our room was clean and we had everything what we need! Location is perfect in my opinion. It is about 7min from the beach and 10min from the city which makes this very calm and quiet place.You can easily walk everywhere but also uber is available and very affordable. When you go here, say hi to the cutest cat named Luna ❤️

The staff was super nice. The pool is a great way to cool off and everybody there is very nice and friendly. There’s only 8 rooms so there is somehow a little community with all of the guests staying there. 15-20’ to the centre and 5-10’ to the beach!

We did book a room with two beds but only got one bed. He offered to change rooms for the second night but we didn’t change rooms. They advertised it with “a free surf lesson” but when we were there they said that they didn’t do that anymore and that the offer just never got changed on booking.com

Manrique one of the staff checked us in. He was super nice and speaks spanish and english. The hotel only has around 8 rooms so it’s very niche and small and homey. The pool in the middle of the property is nice to relax. The location of the hotel is a good walking distance of 15-20’ from the centre of Jaco and 5-10’ to the beach.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Location was amazing. Peaceful and a tiny bit out of the madness of the downtown. However, close enough to walk there in 8 minutes if you want to go out or go to the restaurants. Also only a $2 taxi or uber into downtown. The pool was very nice and well maintained. Loved it!

We hade a fantastic experience. The place recently changed ownership and we were lucky enough to be the second guests of the new host Zack. He and the whole staff were absolutely great and accomodating in every aspect. The common kitchen is more tidy and organized than other places. The surf school (not directly affiliated with the hotel for the moment) is 5-10 minutes away walking, directly on the beach. The vibe is very communal, and you can easily find yourself sharing a meal, chats and good times with other people at the hostel as well as with Zack. The pool is a plus. The place has a lot of potential and we really think it will rapidly become a reference for surf house accommodations in Jacò. Highly recommended.

This is a little gem of a place - only 7 or so rooms that are clean, minimalist but very comfortable. The pool is clean and inviting and a great way to cool off. The beach is easily walkable and we ubered to the downtown restaurants. If we weren't so tired, it would have been a pleasant walk. I so wish we had been able to stay longer! Highly recommend.

Swimming pool clear and convenient, it get sun during most of the day. Fully equipped kitchen, this is a superb feature in the area since most restaurants in Jaco are fast food. Rooms were big and clean, with everything you need. It is 5-10 minutes walking to beach and center, so location is great because you are close to everything, however very quiet and good for relaxing. Best part though is the owner Zack and his colleague Manrique: they help with absolutely everything and made our stance unique. You in Jaco, go there.

Our stay was perfect- I really couldn’t complain about anything.

My favorite place to stay in Costa Rica- I will be back! This boutique hotel is a short walk to the beach. It has a sparkling clean pool. We really enjoyed the mini fridge in our room- all of these things are great but the best part is the staff- we were treated like family and that personalized care makes all the difference! Perico Azul is the beautiful turquoise gem in the crown of Jaco.

Everything has been wonderful- I have nothing negative to say.

This is a boutique style hotel- gated entrance ensures safety. Sparkling clean pool. Shared kitchen. Comfortable seating area inside and out by the pool. We loved our stay so much we cancelled our next destination to stay a couple days longer. Short walk to the beach, stores, restaurants. One of the best places I have stayed at in Costa Rica (this is my 5th trip!) The owner makes sure you are taken care of and feel welcome and at home. Hot water, fans and AC and mini-fridge make the room extra comfortable. Beach towels provided. My son did the surf camp and loved it. We will come back!! They have laundry services offered as well.

I liked everything about Hotel Perico!

I loved my stay at Hotel Perico. The small and intimate hotel is in a quiet and secure location in Jaco. The front gate is always locked and I did not hear any noise from vehicles or animals at night. It has several seating areas and a dipping pool to chill and relax. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by Soll, the charming and charismatic hotel manager. Soll also teaches yoga at several local studios and she is a great surf instructor (I did both activities). My room was comfortable and clean, the shower always had hot water, and the air conditioner worked well. There is a large common kitchen that is perfect for preparing your own meals. There was complimentary coffee every morning. The two maids deserve special mention. They kept the rooms, property and kitchen spotless, and were always friendly and smiling. Hotel Perico is in a perfect place for relaxing, while being only a short walk from the center of town and a few minutes from the popular south end of the beach. I will most definitely come back to Hotel Perico and look forward to seeing Soll again. Exclamation mark! :)

Absolutely excellent.Soll is a wonderful human being who is an excellent yoga and surf teacher as well as manager of the hotel. Could not be happier with my stay. Don’t want to leave I loved i the hotel and her so much.

The hotel host Soll, in addition to being very friendly and helpful, gave us advice about Jaco and in particular a restaurant where we ate the best ceviche of the trip! It's a small but very cozy hotel, very quiet yet 5min drive from the city center. There was AC in our room and the bonus points go to the central swimming pool :)
