It’s a little dated but pool was great. The breakfast buffet some items lacked some flavor.

The property location was great, right on the beach. Staff were great especially Juan and Sebastian at the pool bar and Jaime at the Italian restaurant. He had a great memory and on our second visit remembered what wine I had the night before and brought it starlight to our table.

The ocean was too rough to swim in. I will not return based on the ocean. I look forward to swimming in the ocean but the waves were too big and crashed too hard.

Fiona was fabulous at 5 o’clock somewhere bar. She was energetic, attentive and very friendly. All other staff were nice including Manuel and the guys at the beach security gate.

There is no elevator available for public you have to carry all your luggage to your floor . The rooms need some upgrades they looked old. Definitely the bathroom needs some love.

The bathrooms need to be updated. It looked like the vanity and mirror had been updated, but our room had a huge jacuzzi tub with a shower above that I'm not sure worked (we didn't try it). The tub was very old and jets were rusty. The separate shower looked updated, but the water pressure wasn't very good. It got the job done though. We would have appreciated better drinks and snacks service at the pool and beach.

The location was excellent. It is right on the beach and had the perfect sunsets every night. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. It was very quiet at night.

Amazing location, the beach is only a few feet away from the hotel, you enjoy the best sunsets, the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and the room was very comfortable. We had a fantastic time and vacation!

Too far from major attractions, all tours take too long to get to jungle, parks, volcanos etc. The food is mediocre

Ok but for a somewhat large all inclusive the options were very limited. In fact one night during a weekend the main bar was not even open due to a wedding. They extended the pool bar hours but not much longer. Food was highly average.

Expensive for the all inclusive package. Bring mosquito spray as there are mangroves. Not many options for vegetarians.

Good location as the beach was outside the hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good sized pool with swim up bar. Raccoons at night were good fun to watch. Food was ok, very American and probably great if you like that sort of thing. A la carte you had to book which was just passable as Italian food.

people were allowed to mark their spots under all the cabanas or shady spots early morning with towels, books and such, then leave for hours before showing up to sit under their shady spots.

Cannot think of anything I didn’t like.

Everything was handy and easy to access. Nice pool and lovely ocean just steps away. The bed, sheets and pillows were the best I have experienced in years! The room we had was easily twice as large as our room at Diria in Tamarindo. Margaritaville is a perfect place to relax and enjoy. Staff was great, as usual in Costa Rica.

Having to reserve lounge chairs at 5:30am each morning to ensure we had a place to sit around the pool.

The proximity to the beach was perfect and the sunsets were amazing. The pool was a good size and a great way to cool down. The breakfasts were buffet style with lots to choose from. The rooms and grounds were clean and well taken care of. A shout out to the entertainment man Esteban...he provided us with fun pool aerobics and volleyball as well as taking us on a hike.
