Choice of all inclusive alcohol. I had a reservation at the seafood restaurant in which we had to choose our starter and main the night before. The wine choice was red or white, the ceviche was made with frozen shrimp and all food was pre cooked and over cooked.

The pools were beautiful and clean. Having multiple depths including shallow ones for the little kid's pools was nice as there was less noise and splashing in the other pools. The view was spectacular! Amazing sunsets! They could add some more lounge chairs around the pools, however. The lunch/dinner food was average and repetitive, so it got boring fast. But the omelets/fresh eggs in the morning and the food at the Italian and Asian restaurants were much better. There are some great little restaurants on the beach for something different. Really enjoyed the extra snacks/desserts such as the ice cream, churros, and cotton candy. Fun to do the bumper cars and Ferris wheel at night. The other entertainment was average, and we didn't stay around to watch much. Mostly in Spanish. Other people were laughing and seemed to enjoy it though. The room was basic but was nice to have a separate room in the family suite. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Would be nice to have coffee supplied for the coffee machine in the room. It was fairly close to the airport (30mins) and great to have the taxi/shuttle both ways. We didn't have to wait for pickup upon arrival, and it was easy to book the return trip ( would be a bonus to have both directions paid for though) The beach was easy to access, was clean and had nice, soft (darker) sand. Good snorkeling over to the right around the reef. We saw lots of colorful fish and a squid! Friends we met went on a fishing trip and caught the notorious Rooster fish! It is positioned on a hill so good mobility is required. Small, open air, bus will take you up and down the hill though. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay. Nice that it is a smaller resort. Less busy and chaotic than other larger resorts. Great staff!

Most staff don't understand basic English. The buffet was pretty limited and repeating. While the quantity of alcohol wasn't a problem, the usage of fresh fruit was. Difficult to get a mixed juice that is not a concentrated punch... Videos feature nice plates... but everything is basic buffet. In other words, all was fine, but there is improvement possible for the food and drinks.

We stayed Monday through Saturday. Our stay was very pleasant during the week. From Friday it got more crowded and louder, presumably with weekend tourism. There were some moderate safety issues like very hot containers in the food buffet (I walked away with a burn), we repeatedly knocked our heads on the structures around hammocks, there was no dedicated lane for pedestrians on the road down to the beach, etc.

Fun and lovely place for an all-inclusive family vacation. The view from the resort is beautiful (though not necessarily from the rooms). We enjoyed the swimming pools with beautiful sunset view, hammocs, open bar and all. The beach is also easily accessible with some good shade under the trees and rather quiet water. There was good entertainment for kids at night and generally good facilities, e.g. they loved picking their food from the buffet etc. The cabins were also comfortable for us four with a good lay out. Value for price is good. We will come again.

Although the service was excellent, we were a little disappointed in the in the food, particularly with respect to presentation, and as there was a redundancy to what was being offered The various choices were only labeled, and only in Spanish, so for the visiting tourist difficult to understand. The disappointment was also in the restaurants Which again lacked any element of ambiance or sophistication, and food choices were both poor, and disappointing in taste

The location of the property was excellent, especially with beautiful views of the Sunset each evening, walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean. The hill was a little challenging at times, but we got used to taking the shuttle on a regular basis, or walking up the hill for a bit of a workout.

Rooms need updating. Would be nice if specialty restaurants were a la carte and cocktails were available. Need some decorating in the specialty restaurants also.

I liked the breakfast. Fresh fruit and cheese was available at breakfast. All the bars had non alcoholic real fruit batidos. Ice cream was available at an ice cream station. The spa was very personalized. This is a great place to vacation with children. The kitchenette was very clean. The room was very comfortable. Our maid designed new towel animals every day. The beach access was great. The shuttles were always around. This was important as the property is on a hill side. When we had trouble with the shower head, maintenance fixed the problem right away.

Need more seat and shade. I saw a lot of people stay without seat. The internet quality is poor in room. There are not much opcion for vegetarian/ vegan.

The hotel is clean and the shuttle between restaurant, beach and room is good. Close to the beach. Good conectivity in restaurant, pool and lobby area.

Some of the staff can be rude at times specially the drivers transporting to and from locations, the cleaning staff doesn’t knock before coming into the rooms. The choice for entertainment is at times very obnoxious, we went during new years and the DJ was quite frankly a poor choice.

It’s a good family environment, the food is okay. Some of the staff is pleasant like the host and reception. The beach is very nice although the experience can vary depending on the day, there were vendors that kept playing with balls near the seating area.

Walking the steep hill with luggage, and for U S guests, my daughter would have like more kid variety of foods, for 5 days her major food was French fries. If they offered some plain pasta, chicken nuggets that type of food she would have been happier, other daughter was disappointed that you didn’t have more seafood options, most days it was the exact same menu, more variety especially when guests may be there for a week.

Everything was wonderful, including all staff.

The loud music that went on by the pool until later in the evening was a bit much; food selection on the a La carte slightly limited. We couldn’t get into the bookable restaurant unfortunately. We had no hot water in our shower so no hot showers during our stay!

Hot water was not always available. I had a few warm to cold showers. We tried to eat at the Chinese restaurant one night, but it was empty and no staff were around. We waited about 15 minutes then went back to the main restaurant by the pool. Lighting for the entire property is terrible. Definitely not romantic, when it comes to design choice for lights.

Staff was great, for a location to beach was good. A very laid back comfortable atmosphere.
